  It has been an absolute pleasure to host Karen. Our family thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her over the course of her stay. We loved having her join us for our family dinner each night. Karen always participated in our conversations and banter around the table as well as around the house. She's genuine, trustworthy, very easy going and quick to smile and laugh. Karen's friendly and open demeanour has allowed her to make friends quickly which has worked well for her outgoing and ambitious travel adventures. She's a true lover of nature and is definitely not one to sit still for long with her sights always set on the next hike or day trip. Karen has been one of our cleanest students to-date ;-). She was very respectful of our home and always offered to help out in the kitchen in whatever capacity. We wish her all the best. She's one of homestay student's that you don't say goodbye to, but rather 'until we meet again'.
