Bonjour, bienvenue à "MI casa" c'est votre maison, c'est un appartement dans un immeuble de 4 étages, à 5 minutes du centre fortifié, des monuments, des animations : culturelles et sociales. restaurants, plages, églises, centres commerciaux, Devant l'appartement il y a une école de langues (espagnol, allemand, français, anglais, portugais) etc.
Je vis avec ma fille, elle travaille, j'ai de l'expérience depuis de nombreuses années dans l'accueil d'étrangers, en particulier ceux qui viennent étudier l'espagnol à Carthagène des Indes, des continents européen, asiatique, nord, sud et central où la langue fondamentale est l'anglais. ou espagnol, portugais, allemand, etc., c'est une expérience merveilleuse, des gens sympathiques, heureux et positifs rentrent à la maison, désireux de connaître notre culture et notre langue, à côté du bâtiment il y a un supermarché et un autre supermarché en diagonale. A 2 pâtés de maisons, une magnifique baie avec vue sur Bocagrande.
Le petit-déjeuner est le premier repas de la journée, j'essaie de faire en sorte qu'il soit énergique et inclus dans le forfait hébergement avec la lessive. Il y a un petit réfrigérateur qui doit être partagé entre les deux chambres où je loge.
C'est un endroit sûr et calme, où vous pouvez vous promener jour et nuit, avec un transport facile.
Vous pouvez utiliser la cuisine en la laissant propre dès que vous avez terminé, si vous le souhaitez.
Aujourd'hui, en 2024, nous avons une forte augmentation de la consommation d'énergie, donc le service de climatisation est rationné, mais si vous souhaitez plus de temps pour ce service, il est en plus vendu à l'heure dont vous avez besoin.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms. Carmen, treated me like her own son.
Carmen's warmth and hospitality knew no bounds. She went out of her way to ensure that I was comfortable and well taken care of during my stay. Carmen's kindness and generosity were truly heartwarming.
I was truly touched by the genuine love and care that Carmen and her family showed me. Their willingness to open their home and hearts to a stranger like me speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. I will forever be grateful for the memories and experiences I shared with them during my time in Colombia.

Carmen is a fantastic host! I stayed two weeks at Carmens place and it was a wonderful experience. She is a very openminded and kind person and she will take care of you very well and will make you feel at home. The apartment is located very close to Getsemaní and the historic center, it's really easy to walk there. I can only recommend to stay with Carmen and her daughter, they're a lovely family!

It was the best choice to stay at Carmens house. She is an openminded and lovely person and I really had a family in Cartagena! We still in contact. I loved to live there and for sure will come again.

Carmen's home was the perfect stay for my time in Cartegena. Carmen is so welcoming and from the moment I walked in, gave me all the tools and options to make me feel at home at her place. She really goes out of the way to make you feel welcome at her home. The apartment itself is very nice. Has a great view and breeze in the living room, that is perfect for sitting and people watching, reading and relaxing. I was there for spanish classes at nueva lengua and carmen emphasized continuing conversations at home. She and her daugther were very easy to talk to, always kept the conversation going. The room was ideal for me and made good use of space. Carmen made breakfast and dinner for extra fee which was great way to continue conversation everyday. She also had great local suggestions to explore the city.

I stayed with Carmen for almost a month and had an amazing stay. Carmen is absolutely beautiful and the most kind-hearted woman. The location was great. Outside the busy part of Cartagena, but still close enough to walk in. Lots of places to eat nearby and a great little CrossFit gym. It was a great opportunity to practice my Spanish. Highly recommend. Would stay with Carmen again in a heartbeat

La casa de Carmen is a warm and welcoming home for students and travelers. The apartment is part of a small apartment complex in Manga with a gate and security. It is a neighborhood of families, children and grandparents - only a 15' walk to el centro and a 10' walk to the popular neighborhood of Getsamaní. Located on the 4th floor of the apartment complex it offers an incredible view of the skyline especially the highest point of the city - el Convento de la Popa.
The apartment is clean, spacious with accommodations that include either a shared room or private room. The students share a bathroom. Connecting with other students or tourists was one of the best parts of the homestay. Carmen is a talented cook and she will modify her meal plans to accommodate your preferences!

Primero que todo pedir disculpa a la pagina Homestay y a Janet, por no haber contestado a tiempo, con esto del corona virus la vida a cambiado mucho, tuve la oportunidad de tener a Janet en casa casi por 3 meses, y partió en el ultimo momento en que cerraban los vuelos tanto en Cartagena como en su país Estados Unidos de Norteamérica.
Fue una linda experiencia en un principio como es natural
