Suite Plaza Vieja

The apartment in Plaza Vieja is situated in the most perfect location in all of Havana...I honestly can't think of anywhere more picturesque to stay. It has beautiful views of the plaza where we sat on the balcony taking in the hustle and bustle. The apartment is very modern by Cuban standards and very clean. The hosts made our stay very comfortable and were so helpf in giving advice and organising our time, explaining currency and what to expect etc. We enjoyed typical Cuban breakfast at the apartment for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this apartment. Do take some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper but the noise in the evening is a small price to pay for the perfect location!

A very nice place to enjoy your Havana time. Clean, all utilities inside, big room, perfect location, nice panoramic view on Plaza Vieja, the place where a lot of things are happening day and night. Maybe a little bit noisy by night after your Havana tours but hey, you are in the middle of everything. Maria is 'una chica maravillosa' so helpful in preparing our stay, attentive to details and providing us a lot of tips and trkcks for your stay. Definitely I recommend this place and host.

We stayed in the suite. It's a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the plaza Vieja. It's a bit noisy cause you sleep at the plaza (music in the night and schoolchildren in the morning. There's a primary school at the plaza and the children have sport at the plaza, which is lovely to look at, but noisy to). The host is very nice, made us a very good breakfast which we could have at the balcony. Maria can help you with arranging the transport. We certainly recommend this place!

We are so grateful to have found this spectacular room, and there are no words for how appreciative we are to have met such attentive caring hosts. From the moment we booked our room, Maria reached out and kept in contact with us for any recommendations we asked about as we traveled and navigated through Cuba.

The room itself is gorgeous with 20 ft ceilings, a huge king bed and a great balcony overlooking the square. The location is perfect, as it’s both close enough to everything for sightseeing and tours, and quiet and peaceful for a restful stay. We highly recommend staying at Habana Vieja, Plaza Vieja and hope to come back for another visit.

Possiamo solo dare un giudizio più che positivo sia per quanto riguarda la proprietaria, Iliana, che per la casa in se.
Sicuramente una realtà diversa da quella Italiana; però ci siamo sentiti come fossimo a casa, in un ambiente sempre pulito e accogliente, con la possibilità di accedere alle vie principali in pochi minuti. Colazione sempre ottima ed abbondante.
Iliana è una persona speciale, non ci ha mai fatto sentire in disagio neanche per un istante, resterà nei nostri cuori.
Maria ha saputo guidarci nella fase di prenotazione nel migliore dei modi, avvenuta con grande anticipo e si è sempre resa disponibile.
Che dire più di così... Non ci resta che tornare!!

We loved our stay with Iliana in Havana! Her home is a lovely peaceful place in the middle of busy Havana. The location of the stay is perfect, with the restaurants and beauty of Plaza Vieja right outside your door. The room was really clean and she cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. The communication beforehand with Maria was very pleasant. She is always ready to help you and actually recommended us a stay in Vinales which we also really enjoyed. Thank you so much!
