Manisha and Mohit are fantastic hosts. They welcomed us into their home over Diwali and made us feel part of the family. It was non stop laughter and our stay was truly memorable. Manisha was a wonderful cook and Mohit was an excellent story teller. They have two beautiful children who made it all the more special. We feel lucky and privileged to have stayed there.

When booking our trip to India, we were really keen to do a homestay so that we could experience an Indian family's culture, traditions and cooking in the most authentic way. We stayed with Manisha and her husband Mohit in Jaipur for a total of four nights and had an absolutely amazing experience, start to finish. All expectations from a homestay were completely exceeded. Manisha and Mohit always went above and beyond to help us with absolutely everything from advising us on local sightseeing attractions, best methods of transport, best mobile network and everything in between.
We joined Manisha, Mohit and family for breakfast and dinner every day and even got a cooking lesson from the Masterchef herself Manisha on one of the nights, where she talked us through all ingredients and the whole process, start to finish, also allowing us to do some cooking of our own. We were nowhere near her exceptional standards in our attempts :) To say that the food was excellent would be an understatement and you certainly do not go hungry - Manisha and Mohit do not allow you to leave their table without numerous refills of everything!
As we all sat around the table each night, Mohit and Manisha spoke to us at length about everything from Indian history, traditions, culture, beliefs & religion and local cuisine, the conversations were always so interesting and insightful and both were always more than happy to answer any questions that we had.
I have left the best until last - the two kids! Manisha and Mohit have one girl, Pritika (4) and one boy, Reyansh (5). Both kids were so friendly and pleasant and were always so excited to see us each morning before school and again in the evening at the dinner table, always calling us 'Uncle' and 'Aunty'. We would then play some games with them after the dinner each night, which was another highlight for us.
Overall, we cannot recommend Manisha and Mohit enough for an unforgettable experience at their home with their lovely family. Thank you both so much again, we hope to visit again in the future!

My stay in Jaipur with Manisha, Mohit, Indra, Reyansh and Vedika was a wonderful experience. Feeling their kindness and affection makes you feel one of the family. I spent a month with them, so enough time to share many moments together. I had the most delicious, varied, fresh, homemade food ever; I flew kites in the Indian kite frenzy of Makar Sankranti with Mohit, The Kite Guru; I played all sort of games with the kids (they call me Isabel aunty and I call them hermosos preciosos); I had masala chai every morning under the sun; I had conversations with "Mama" via Google translate and she even taught me how to knit!. I also met other adorable family members and I am still trying to understand the family tree, because as we all know, Indians are too many ;). Manisha was always very kind and gentle. Every single moment spent with them was precious. My room was very nice, comfortable and decorated with lovely details.
I hope to see them again! Thank God our paths came together. Lots of love, Isabel Aunty!novembre 2018
Staying at Manisha's home was a delight. All the family were so warm and welcoming and were incredibly helpful and kind to me. This was my first homestay in India and I don't think I'll find better. The kids were great fun and the home cooking delicious:-) I stayed 11 nights and was very sad to leave. Thank you Manisha, Mohit and all the family!

The stay at Manisha´s house is the first and so far the best Homestay-experience for me and my friend. We stayed for 3 nights in Jaipur. The location is perfect since it´s calm, tidy and very well reachable from both the airport and the city centre by public transport. We felt like family members, got to know lots about the preparation of Indian food, Indian traditions, got valuable help how to reach sights in Jaipur, which ones are worth a visit and many more. We also got the Indian mobile phone in case we get lost in Jaipur, since we only had our own foreign numbers. The family is very warm-hearted! Every family member cares for you. They woke up even at 6am in order to prepare the breakfast for us and to say goodbye, because our train on departure day was early in the morning. The whole family wants you to feel comfortable, and we indeed felt very cosy in Manisha´s house. Many thanks for everything!!! Would be great to meet this fantastic family again.

I had the most amazing time with Manisha and her beautiful family . From within a few minutes of meeting Manisha I felt I had known her for years or was reacquainting with a long lost friend .I felt so happy and at ease in this home and the help and support I was given to make my itinerary was just super, their concern for my welfare was also fantastic ,concerning herself over whether I had eaten or not and feeding me such lovely food and Chai.Manisha is such a busy caring lady helping so many people outside her family and running a bustling household ,even when she must have been exhausted she still put other people's needs first ! If angels live amongst us I found a true one here in Jaipur. I would have really struggled without their help and I genuinely miss the whole family including adorable little ones and fab Grandparents ! A huge hug and Thankyou from your new English friend Manisha and family .
