Hi to all about to travel to Dublin, a warm welcome awaits you when you arrive. I am currently living in Dublin 12, I have a 3 bedroom home with one single and one double room available for homestay guests. There are very good transport links to Dublin City Centre with bus routes and luas line just 5 mins walk from the house. Star my beautiful Golden Retriever is 10. he loves company , he is super affectionate & He loves to be around people ,(like a shadow ) so if this isnt for you then my place wouldn't be suitable .. I work full time Mon - Friday 8.30 - 5pm so check in would preferably be any time after 5.30pm. You will be most welcome to come share the house (not just your room) as you can help yourself to cook your own meals/snacks There is Chrome cast available in both rooms. My long term partner is a full time musician, so if you like live music and gigs - there wont be a shortage of gigs you can go to around Dublin I look forward to meeting and greeting & making your trip to Dublin as enjoyable and memorable as possible

My house is located 15 minutes walk from Kilmainham Jail, Memorial & Phoenix park. the Guinness Store house& Dublin's Christ Church.
There are very good transport links to city centre with the Luas Red line just 5 mins walk from my house. Heuston train station is about a 20 min walk
There are also good bus routes to and from city centre. There is a local shop nearby, Supermarkets Centra Aldi. Supervalue are about a 10 minute walk .Liffey Valley shopping centre is a bus journey away (approx 30 mins) Where there are lots of shops cinema and restaurants) Doctors and Hospitals are all within walking distance. Brickfield park is a minute walk where you can enjoy a stroll, use the playground with children or watch local football on summer days.

Be mindful of alarm and double lock front door when leaving
Star my dog likes to follow everyone -please don't let him go outside the front door. He is not streetwise and he would get lost
Keep the communal area's clean & tidy
Minimum noise after 12pm
Please do not invite guests to my home.
Keys lost or damaged will incur a cost
Be comfortable enough to use the kitchen when needed.( Before 10pm at night please)
Try to shower at a reasonable hour please before 10pm

Vanessa has been an amazing host. I highly recommend staying with her, she will make you feel at home from the first day. She is not just a host, she will become your friend. She has a beautiful and clean house, the atmosphere is so cozy and you will love her dog Star. I spent an amazing two months with her and I hope I will be able to come back soon.

Vanessa wellcomed me as a friend. I immediately felt at home, she always offered me any help. The house is daily cleaned and tidy. In the kitchen you can find everything you need to cook. The position of the house is strategic to reach city centre. I suggest this accomodation at all. Miss Vanessa and Star :)

Vanessa is amazing, she will take care of you like a mother. She is very friendly, altruistic and her home is very cozy, comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay there for a month. The district she lives in is rather calm, accessible and has a gym and many shops nearby. And of course her dog Star is an adorable companion that will make your heart melt.

My stay couldn't be better. At first I had in mind stay only one week but after I meet her I decided stay for almost 6 months. Vanessa is a friendly, kind and helpful person. She was like a sister for me and I loved to have all kinds of chats with her with a cup of tea or wine. I would highly recommend her. You will not regret about your choice ❤️❤️ Will miss you so much. See you in my wedding or before if you can

Vanessa was very kind, respectful and helpful with me. Her dog is very quiet. It was very nice to stay in her home. Moreover, I felt very comfortable in my room. I would go back to Vanessa's home if I stayed in Dublin again, without any doubt.

Very comforting. She's always ready to help you, easy-going, and very patient for non native english speakers. I'm pretty much picky but I felt always like home sweet home at Vanessa's place.
And she cleans the house frequently so you don't need to worry about mess like other houses in Dublin. If I can rent a long-term accommodation from Vanessa, I will definitely go back again.
In a nutshell, impeccable.

Vanessa hosted Dean from germany as a favour to me. I was unable to host him on the dates he requested. Dean told me how nice Vanessa was to him during his visit to Ireland. Dean was very comfortable and happy with his stay at Vanessa's home. I would recommend Vanessa to others in the future.

Quoi de mieux que de loger chez un vrai résident de Dublin? N’hésitez pas un instant pour choisir cette chambre : Vanessa travaille le jour mais vous fait vraiment sentir comme chez vous dès le premier contact. Elle est super accueillante, elle a beaucoup d’écoute et votre confort et sécurité sont important pour elle . Même si la maison n’est pas en plein au centre ville, il vous faudra 15 à 20 minutes avec le tram (LUAS ligne rouge) et une petite marche de 10 minutes maximum. Si j’ai l’opportunité c’est certain que c’est ici que je reviens : milles merci Vanessa.

It has been lovely to be in Vanessa's house for a couple of days. She is very nice and tries her best to make you feel as if you were at home. Without any doubts I would stay on Vanessa's house again if I came back to Dublin.

À quel moment dois-je payer?
Une fois que l'hôte a confirmé sa disponibilité, vous pouvez procéder au paiement des frais de réservation de 15% (maximum de 250 $£€ pour les réservations de longues durées) et un acompte de 25% en utilisant un choix de paiement: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB et PayPal (non disponible dans certains pays). Homestay.com recevra le paiement de l'acompte au nom de l'hôte pour se prémunir contre les annulations tardives (moins de 7 jours avant la date d'arrivée) ou les non-présentations. Vous paierez ensuite à votre hôte le montant du prix à votre arrivée. L'acompte de 25% sera versé à votre hôte 2 jours ouvrables après la date de début de la réservation. Le dépôt ne sera remboursable que si vous annulez la réservation plus de 7 jours avant la date d'arrivée de la réservation.
Quand puis-je partager mes coordonnées?
Les adresses email de l’hôte, de l’invité, les numéros de téléphone et l’adresse domicile seront échangés dans un email envoyé aux deux immédiatement dès qu’une réservation est confirmé. Sachez que, selon nos termes et conditions, ce n'est pas permis que les Invités et les Hôtes échangent leurs coordonnées sur notre système messagerie avant qu'une réservation soit confirmé.
