Kumiko and her family are very interesting, cool people, and have knowledge of many interesting topics. They also speak beautiful English and are wonderful to have a conversation with.
The house is always clean and tidy and has that rare homely ambience!

It warmed my soul to wake up in the morning and to sit at the table with the sun streaming through the window, listening to some fragrant jazz and eating some delicious Tamago Kake Gohan breakfast. Such a picturesque experience!

It’s not just the TKG that’s delicious. All the food is absolutely delicious. They put on a takoyaki party for me and introduced me to Yukimidaifuku. Both of these are now some of my favourite Japanese foods.

Their pets are very fun to play with! Such friendly and cute little animals.

Kumiko took me on a nighttime adventure to see the lights in Yokohama and she also recommended me many places to visit as a tourist in Tokyo and surrounding area. She is a very good guide!

I reccomend this homestay to anyone and to everyone!

This homestay family made my time in Tokyo a beautiful experience. I hope that I have the chance to go back their again sometime.

Kumiko and her family are such lovely people! I cannot thank them enough. I am a bit shy around new people, but Kumiko made me feel so welcome! Her house is in a very good location, very clean and friendly. The room I stayed in was so comfortable and nicely furnished, and Kumiko provided essentials such as a toothbrush and toothpaste in a small basket for me. I could use the laundry freely and Kumiko offered to drive me to the nearby station whenever she could! I was also allowed to use the fridge and kitchen to my liking, and I was offered to eat their food too (thank you for letting me drink the delicious iced coffee, for bringing me sweets and encouraging me to eat with you!). Her pets Nano and Mira are so cute and I was allowed to take Nano on walks! Kumiko went out of her way to involve me in family activities such as taking me out to dinner, bringing me along for a trip to Yokohama, taking me to a rock concert (she is also a very talented musician), and many more! I wish I could post pictures along with my review. I am learning Japanese and Kumiko went out of her way to help me whenever I had questions. I have so many fond memories from this homestay and when I come back to Japan, I will definitely visit again! I wish I could describe every single fun thing we did together. Thank you to Kumiko and your family for all that you have done for me! I am sorry I forgot to give back the umbrella you lent to me and I accidentally took two pens from your house... I will definitely use this as an excuse to visit you again!

P.S: I fell in love in Japan and Kumiko encouraged me to confess my feelings to him. We are still together <3

I had a very nice time at this homestay !   My bedroom was very comfortable and had a lot of space. I ended up being very busy during my week there but whenever I left or came home when Kumiko and her husband were there, it was so nice talking together in english and japanese
They have a cute dog and a cat that are always asking to be pet!
So I totally recommend this homestay, they are very welcoming and friendly people. And I appreciated that they pick me up and drop me at the station on the first and last day.

My homestay experience at Kumiko's san place was amazing. The family's really kind and wonderful. Their pets, Nano and Mira were the cutest in the world. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Everything is within the vicinity. Convenience Stores, Shopping Mall, Train Stations, Restaurants. If the timing is right, they would be willing to pick us up from the station after long day of sightseeing. They would constantly ask if there's anything they could do to further enhance our stay. They'd would teach me about the local lifestyle every single day. During my stay of 1 week, I met with Bojan who's travelling throughout Japan through cycling, a livehouse rock concert, Tako Party (Akashiyaki), Temaki (Hand Made Sushi), played lots with Nano and Mira, tennis with the professor of the Toukou University, went to Yokohama (Gundam & Chinatown), Asakusa, etc. I'd highly recommend their place as a place to stay if you're looking for a homely place!
