Konnichiwa! Welcome to Japan! Planning to visit or study Japanese language in Tokyo? We are looking forward to have you with us. You might be nervous as well as excited about living in Tokyo. From our house you can reach wholesale supermarket, 2 convenience stores which open 24 hours, discounted store where you can buy drinks, toiletries, instant food, second-hand book store, clothing store and bento shop in just a matter of walk for 1 to 3 minutes away. Shabu-shabu restaurant, yakiniku restaurant, gyudon restaurant, western food restaurant are within 10-12 minutes away on foot. You can get almost everything you need. And yet, our place is quiet and in a tidy residential area.
There are 2 stations you can use. Both are very convenient. They bring you straight to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi, Yokohama or all major stations.
In just 15 minutes walk, you can reach stations, shopping mall or park. Inside the park there are many public facilities, like library, public pool, bird sanctuary, etc. You can rent a bicycle and cycle around a huge park, too.
We have 3 children, at the moment we have our daughter staying with us. She is a university student and very active girl. Besides Japanese, we speak fluent English and I speak Indonesian. We travel overseas every year and enjoy meeting people.

We have 1 single room, about 10.5m2, on the 2nd floor with a ceiling window and a big window. The room is so bright and warm. It has 1 big desk with chair, study lamp, stereo, computer, some spaces in the cupboard for your belongings, side table and coat hanger. I am sure you can study or work comfortably in this room. The wallpaper has been changed 2 years ago.
We have another room located on the 1st floor about 10.5m2 with big windows. It is bright and nice and facing outside but not noisy. At night, you need to close the shutter, so it's completely safe. It has desk with desk lamp, drawer for clothes, a bookshelf, private TV, AC, coat hanger and heater.
We'll provide a new bed sheet, futon cover and pillow case and in-house sandals for those who stay for more than 2 months.
*There is extra charge of 1500 yen per month for AC/heater for months of Jan, Feb, Mar, Jul, Aug, Sep, Dec
We have upright piano in the living room. You are free to practice it, just let us know beforehand.
You can use microwave, toaster and kitchen. You can cook when we are around to avoid unnecessary accident. For breakfast, we usually have cereal and fruit/yoghurt. You can join us for dinner for free, too.

From our home you can you can walk for less than 17 minutes to Hikarigaoka station. This subway (Toei Oedo line) also will bring you anywhere to the central of Tokyo. Or you can go to Nerima station which will bring you anywhere in Tokyo as well. 24 Mins to Shinjuku/ 31 mins to Shibuya.
Stores and supermarket is just 2-3 minutes away on foot and all kind of restaurants are about 12 minutes away on foot from home.
There are a huge park at Hikarigaoka station, where you can find a huge shopping center, supermarkets, public library and public sport facilities.

Repas
Les hôtes peuvent offrir un petit déjeuner léger gratuit si ils/elles le souhaitent. Les petit déjeuner complet, et tous les autres repas (si votre hôte souhaite les fournir), pourront coûter un prix additionnel. Les repas et les paiements additionnels doivent être arranger avec vote hôte directement.

Règlement intérieur
1. Electricity goods is good for 110 volt only. You can use our hair dryer.
2. Exchange money is rather complicated in Tokyo, whereas you need to go to
certain places by train. It's better to do it before you arrive.
3. Start a day with greetings will be nice.
4. In Japan, toilet paper dissolves in water. Please flush it after use. Maintain
the cleanliness after using.
5. You cannot flush a sanitary napkin in a toilet bowl. Please put it in a sanitary
bag and dispose it in the proper place. Or just ask us how to throw away it.
6. There are a lot of rules how to put out garbage in Japan. Please follow your
host family's instructions.
Do not keep garbage in your room. Have your meal in the dining room.
7. Please turn off electricity when they are not in use. NEVER brush your teeth
with the water running.
8. Please be sure to clean up toilet, wash basin, bath, dining, kitchen, and living
room after use.
9. While staying in your host family, you will experience and may not
understand Japanese rules. It's fine, we'll inform you so you can fit quicker
in the Japanese society.
10. Japanese people welcome foreigners. You are your country ambassador
that's why always behave well and greet neighbors.
11. Do not damage the facilities, ALWAYS listen to music or watch a movie with
earphones or headsets.
12. We'll teach you how to use our washing machine, dryer and washing
powder with extra payment each time. We do not be responsible for any
damage after using.
13. Never enter other bedrooms without the consent of the owner.
14. For the safety reason, curfew (latest 11 pm) and reasonable rules will be
set.
15. You may enjoy some drink in your room but NEVER get DRUNK inside the
house or come back home in drunk condition.
16. We are very reasonable people, just inform us anything in advance.
17. If you need us to send you to the nearest station, it'll cost 200 yen a time.
18. When you catch cough or fever, we require you to put on a mask which is a common etiquette in Japan.

【When check out】
①Please return the remote control to its original position.
②Please return the hangers to its original position.
③Please dispose the garbage from the sanitary in toilet, room in the specific garbage can.
④If you lose room key, you have to pay around 18000yen.
⑤If you damaged or break or dirt the room, you have to pay.
Method of Payment
We request you to pay 30% of the total amount after the booking is made by bank transfer and pay the rest 70% in cash within 2 days after your arrival.
Cancellation Policy
We'll charge 50% of deposit if the cancellation is made in less than a month prior to arrival.

Contactez l'hôte pour vérifier leur disponibilité et pour poser toutes questions que vous avez. Une fois que l'hôte aura confirmé leur disponibilité pour vos dates, vous pourrez confirmer votre réservation.
À quel moment dois-je payer?
Dès que votre hôte confirme qu'il/elle est disponible, vous pouvez payer les frais de réservation de 15% (maximum de 250 $£€ pour les réservations de longues durées) en utilisant les méthodes de paiements suivantes : Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (non-disponible dans certains pays). En suite, vous payerez votre hôte lors de votre arrivée, ou avant le début du séjour si cela est spécifié dans le profil de l'hôte. Soyez prudent si un hôte vous demande de payer avant le début de votre séjour, mais que cela n'est pas spécifié dans son profil. Nous informons nos hôtes que si ils souhaitent recevoir un paiement en avance, ils doivent spécifier cela dans leurs profils. Nous ne recommandons pas Money gram ou Western Union comme moyen de paiement.
Quand puis-je partager mes coordonnées?
Les adresses email de l’hôte, de l’invité, les numéros de téléphone et l’adresse domicile seront échangés dans un email envoyé aux deux immédiatement dès qu’une réservation est confirmé. Sachez que, selon nos termes et conditions, ce n'est pas permis que les Invités et les Hôtes échangent leurs coordonnées sur notre système messagerie avant qu'une réservation soit confirmé.
