My home is ideally situated 10 minutes away from central Annecy and 5 minutes on foot from the lake in the Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry, La Clusaz area.
I live here with a partner and our interests range from sports to photography.
We have 1 Double available with Mirror, Hair-dryer, Closet / Wardrobe, and Radio.
I am 66 and enjoy sports, socialising, cooking, watching movies, music, reading, photography, teaching and learning foreign languages, travel, television, nature. I speak English and French.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Catherine offers qualified language instruction in her native language French. She has taught French as a second language for over 25 years in England and France. One hour of instruction costs 30€. The classes will be given by the host herself at the accommodation.

Catherine was welcoming and generous. She met me at my arrival point and came with me to ensure I caught the right bus when leaving. She was also patient enough to chat with me in French all weekend.

Catherine is a warm, friendly and gentle host. We communicate well in English/French. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days staying with her, and became friends, sharing meals and life stories together. She is the reason we would love to come back to Annecy. We are very grateful to her !
Her place is very close to the city center and offers a beautiful view of the lake. Her apartment is impeccably neat, like a hotel, and it has a unique style. I 100% recommend her :)Host reply

Catherine was so kind to us, and we enjoyed getting to know her during our time in Annecy. She is responsive and joyful and made us feel at home. I highly recommend renting Catherine's guest room. The bed is very comfortable and has wonderful views of the lake. Bathroom is large with a bathtub and is for tenants use only. Location is ideal.

Catherine is a lovely madame ! She was very kind and helpful when me and my friend needed some informations about the city. The house is in a very confortable position, near the city centre.

We arrived late one very cold evening she kindly met us..She was very helpful when I had lost some property in transit she rang around for us . She had great advice in the local area. The house and our room was spotless and in a great location we would highetto recommend this home stay

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
