Annette lives in a house typical of Bordeaux, comfortable but has retained its authentic look. Facing the park with old trees, a large lawn where you can sometimes see the deer, it is nice to relax on sun loungers.
A former bread oven has been converted into a summer kitchen and a small dining outdoor, adjoining allow to take meals.
Annette is a professor of Humanities (in French) retired and can give lessons, help write a dissertation ... whatever the level of "student".
The area allows for sport: mountain biking (many cycle tracks), hiking (marked trails), rock climbing, paintball, tree climbing, swimming, golf, bowling, tennis, canoeing ...
Rich in relics from all eras: prehistoric, Roman Gallo, the Middle Ages, cities - country houses, castles from the Renaissance to the contemporary period, tourism can help to many discoveries.
Our house is located in the heart of Bordeaux between Saint> Emilion, Sauternes, Graves and initiation to oenology is unavoidable. The visits of castles, underground or ultramodern cellars designed by leading architects, you will glimpse the different paths to reach the grapes to wine, exceptional product.

House Rules
It is forbidden to smoke inside the house. Outside or in the loggia possibly ...
We do not eat in the rooms. Outdoor tables are available, sheltered or under trees.
Have pity on the planet: avoid running the shower too long !!
Laundry can be done at a nearby launderette but not in the sink.
Many people enjoy the place, avoid making noise ... they may sleep! Go to the bottom of the meadow, under the trees if you want to chat late, play an instrument.
Do not invite strangers into the house without my being notified.
Take care of the house, and treat it as if it were yours.

One month before the reservation date pay 30% of the balance. RIB sent. The balance will be payable on the day of arrival (cash or check)
For a last minute booking (less than 8 days before arrival), pay in cash the entire stay upon arrival.
Meals can be taken while booking. Price to be defined according to the number.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
