Our house is just over 200 years old and originally built as a staging post for coaches before becoming the Hotel Du Voyageurs in 1882 until the early 1960's. It retains many of the original features and with my partner Fiona we have tried to renovate the 350m2 of living space sympathetically using original materials. The room we are offering is totally en suite and private measuring over 30m2 containing a king size bed, wifi, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and satellite TV.
If you would like to improve your english you can join in with our daily life...no problem.

About the Area
Two minutes from the centre of historic Chalus, 5 minutes from the main N21 which runs through the Dordogne (10 minutes away) and into Spain and 25 minutes to Limoges Bellegard airport. The ruins of Chateau Chalus-Chabrol where Richard the Lion Heart was mortally wounded a stones throw away. A region bursting with Occitane history where the Patois language can still be heard. Tranquil and relaxing with rolling countryside, walks, hikes, cycling, history and thousands of lakes. Local restaurants and bars offering traditional local dishes and also modern cuisine. Carp/course fishing in local private lakes can be arranged.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
