About the Homestay
We're a daughter and a mother respectively in their 30's and 60's living in the very trendy neighborhood of Père-Lachaise in the 11th district. It is located in a secured residence, the street is quiet but you will be 2 min away from the main street with all the cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurant etc... The location is excellent: 5 min from Père-Lachaise and 15 min from Place de la Bastille. The 11th arrondissement in Paris is known for its excellent nightlife and dining scene. If You Love Food, Heaven Is Paris's 11th Arrondissement. There is 3 lines of subways that will take anywhere in a very short time. There is also multiple buses if you want to visit the city.
You will have your own bedroom in a spacious apartment furnished with a single bed, a desk, shelves, a chest drawer and a cloth rack. There is a bathroom and a kitchen to share. You'll have your own shelve in the kitchen and your own space in the fridge to store your food but we ask you to only do light cooking.
We preferably wish to welcome a foreign female student eager to improve her French but we also speak English and Spanish.

About the Area
The apartment is located 5 mins away from the entrance of the famous cemetery Père-Lachaise, 5 mins from the Atelier des Lumières and 15 min from Place de la Bastille. The neighborhood is young and trendy with some of the best restaurants in town. There's 3 metro lines: the 2 , the 3 at Père-Lachaise and the 9 at Voltaire. The 2 takes you in less than 20 minutes to Montmartre or Notre Dame. The bus stop in front of the apartment will take you straight to The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. You have 3 Supermarkets that opens late and bakeries at every corner.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Guest can not invite friends. No strangers allowed into the apartment.
Access to the fridge and the stove but light cooking only.
Must leave the kitchen and the bathroom clean and dry after use.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
The washing machine is not to be used more than once a week. (There is a laundromat 2 mins away)
Make sure you turn off the lights and the heater in your room and double-lock the front door when leaving the house.
If you're a student you will not be able apply to the CAF aid.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
