My time with Laura was amazing. She welcomed me into her home and was kind, knowledgeable, and generous. We went to the market together, cooked together, helped me with my French, and went out to eat. Her home is filled with interesting curiosities. I highly recommend her place and am grateful to have found a new friend.
It was simply great to stay in Laura's. If you'd like to spend a couple of days in Paris in a confortable and exciting atmosphere (what you see on the photos are real) with a helpful, open-minded and discreet person, this is a place for you. In case of dog or cat allergy and hurting knees it is not recommended because of the adorable puppies and a cat around and because of the special structure of the house with several flights of stairs. However, I'd recommended it to all the rest. It added considerably to my positive Parisian experience it was great to say goodbye to Laura as friends.
Laura is a great hostess with a knowledge of local transport which is essential in Paris!!!
Home is very classic Parisian with tons of character. Room is in the loft and has plenty of space (up 29 steps!!!) and bathroom is separate (13 more steps) at the other end of the home. Not good if you have knee problems!!! But it is a home and Laura makes you feel like it is your home for the time of your stay. Just loved it!
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
I spent a great time in Paris, and it was all because of Laura, she gave me a lot of advices on which places to visit, and also in her house I felt welcome and comfortable, she is a nice person.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a most interesting house with a colorful history. A superb hostess, Laura can provide as much (or as little) information as you might want about France, Paris and her neighborhood. Her help ranged from telling me where to find specific makeup brands to getting batteries for my watches at a reasonable price. Paris temps ranged from 35C to 39C during my visit, yet she was the most considerate and caring host one could want. I'd definitely stay at her home if I were to return to Paris.
She is so nice. I really enjoyed staying her cosy house! This area is very convenience for shopping, metro and bus access. Also she always helped me and talked to me with her cute dogs. when you go to paris then you want to get good advice, I recommend you stay this house :) and I want to keep in touch with her !
I whole-heartedly agree with the previous reviews, so I won't repeat except to emphasize how much I enjoyed Laura as a person--so interesting and fun! Traveling solo, I found it the perfect set-up to have my daily adventures and then return to Laura's in the evening for companionship and good conversation. That being said, she was careful to make sure I had as much privacy and "alone time" as I wanted.
I really liked the location in the 15th arrondissement--quiet neighborhood, excellent shopping, and very, very easy to get around on foot, bus, or metro. I will definitely stay here again.
My stay with Laura was fantastic! She is a very friendly, warm host. She was genuinely interested in my stay, and helped me figure out the best way to get to and from different places in Paris. She also offered suggestions to make sure I stayed safe when out at night. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast she served was delicious. The conversations we had were very fun and interesting. I actually wish I could spend more time with her, and miss her now that I’m home. In many ways she went above and beyond in terms of providing me with an excellent stay. The location is in a very nice part of town and the bus and metro stops are very close. I highly recommend staying with Laura, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
