Jorinde is a great welcoming host, very supportive and kind. I absolutely recommend her beautiful and warm home. She and her son Antonio made me feel at home. Thank you so much! Gabriela , 55, from Chile.

My experience at Jorinde's place was delightful. I stayed the whole month of August and everything was set so that I could feel very soon more like at home than just a guest. The apartment was even nicer than expected and had everything I needed, plus it was easily connected to interesting and fancy areas.
Jorinde was kindly available for requests or suggestions and made sure that I could have my own space, but was also always ready for nice chats (and since she's a knowledgeable person with many interests and experiences, those used to be some fascinating chats!). Special plus: she was SO patient with my almost non-existent German :P
My experience was great, hope to come back to Berlin soon (perhaps with a more decent German) and will surely consider Jorinde's home for a future stay!
Warm greetings from Italy! :)July 2015
We very much enjoyed our stay with Jorinde in Kreuzberg, Berlin.
The accommodation was nice and homely. A large old building with plenty of character. Floorboards a little creaky but that comes with the territory. All amenities available.
No breakfast provided but more than adequate facilities in the area to cope with that and you can use the well equipped kitchen and you have your own fridge space.
Jorinde is very informative and the area where she lives in Kreuzberg is just outstanding. Its very bohemian. interesting little second hand shops and alternative boutiques, arts and crafts. Cool record shops. Restaurants of all descriptions including vegan.
Transport is excellent with the u bahn a 2 minute walk. Then Berlin is your Oyster!June 2015
The house is very reasonably priced and in a great location in Berlin's gentrified area. Jorinde is very kind and friendly and very good with suggestions for places to eat or visit. The only downside was the squeakiness of the bed and the lack of curtains in the bedroom. To be fair, the Germans don't really do curtains but for us British it would be nice to block out the sun as I woke up very early each morning. But overall a lovely experience with a great host! Thank you!

Jorinde is a really very nice and friendly person.
Her apartment is very well located in a lively district (restaurants, café, supermarkets etc). It is also very easy to go to the Center, and visit important places in the city.
I was 3 month at her home and it was really great !
I recommend this place for anyone who wants to make a trip in Berlin. You will be very well welcomed.September 2013
My experience at Jorinde's home has been great!
Jorinde is a very kind and helpful person. The rooms are big and tidy and the kitchen shared may also help creating a good atmosphere with the other house guests. The location is great: close to Alexanderplatz although you need to change once (U7 to U8) but it's only 7/8 stops. The area around (Gneisenaustr.-Bergmannstr.) offers everything you need including a lot of restaurants and shops. I can reccomend it to everyone needs a good quite but central place in Berlin with a very good value for money.August 2013
I had a great time at her place. Her house is located in Kreuzberg near Bergmannstrasse, which offers you a wide range of Cafes and restaurants and ateliers for the art keener, so you have the chance to stay in one of the loveliest districts of Berlin, which is vibrant enough to enjoy and quite enough not to bother you. And I should say that I do love her house, it is not modern but decorated in a very lovely way.
Jorinde is a very nice charecter and I really felt safe in her place. She is type of person that lets you have your own privacy as well as she welcomes sharing and enjoying with her guests in her free time.August 2013
