My name is Udo, Sylvia and I welcome you to stay in our home in Großefehn. We have 1 Single room with Closet / Wardrobe, Desk and Lamp, Mirror, TV, Hair-dryer, and Radio available for homestay guests. Our home is conveniently located 6 km from central Großefehn
Udo is 52 and enjoys socialising, cooking, photography, travel, learning foreign languages, television, gardening, and nature. He speaks English and German
Sylvia is 45 and enjoys sports, socialising, watching movies, reading, travel, learning foreign languages, television, gardening, nature, and fashion design. She speaks English and German

We are 6 km away from the center of Großefehn. When you confirm your booking you will get an email with our complete address so you won't have any problems finding us.

Udo und Sylvia waren sehr nett mit mir und ich hatte viel Spass. 3 Wochen bei Ihnen waren super! Ich bin nach Bonn mit Ihnen gefahren und natuerlich haben wir zusammen das Kentrum in Koeln besichtigen. Ich war in Koeln, um mein Deutsch zu verbessern und sie hatten mir viel unterrichtet!

Thank you Udo and Sylvia. I had a great time in Cologne. I stayed this house only 2weeks for sightseeing. I went a lot of place with them:) They are very kind, friendly, helpful and house is always clean. And they are very talkative! I loved to talk with them. I can't speak German. But no problem, they can speak English very well. Udo is a best chief! I always ate too much. I love german food. They likes drink:D if you stay here, you can drink cologne beer with them.If you planning to go cologne, I'm strongly recommend to stay Udo's house. I was very lucky to meet them.

Mir ist glücklich dass ich bei ihr wohnen kann. Sie sind wirklich sehr nett. Sylvia und Udo sind wie meine deutschen Eltern. They care my feeling and always have patience to hear and talk with me.
Udo kann sehr gut kochen. Das Essen hier ist super, sehr lecker!!
Ich genieße die Zeit, die ich mit ihr zusammen verbringen.
Wenn ich wieder nach Köln werde, möchte ich sehr gerne nochmals bei ihr wohnen. Es lohnt sich! :)

I was very lucky to find this host family because they are really nice people and we can talk easily and have fun with them. Moreover, Udo is a cook, the best way to discover German food! They often offer to do things with them (barbecues, sightseeing) so it's great but you still remain free to stay on your own if you want to. They live in a nice house in a peaceful neighbourhood of Köln. To go in the city center, there's a direct line which reaches the center in less than 30 minutes. To conclude, if you are looking for an accomodation in Köln, and would like to discover German life, don't hesitate, and contact Udo and Sylvia! You won't regret it!

I had an amazing time with Udo, Sylvia, and Nighty! They were extremely nice to me and gave me 100% freedom to do what I wanted. They also included me in their activities, which was really a lot of fun. Udo's cooking was amazing, so I would suggest getting breakfast and dinner too. Overall I had an awesome time, and I feel like if I ever need a place to stay in Köln, then I'll be able to stay with them =)
Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit mit Udo, Sylvia, und Nighty! Sie waren sehr sehr nett zu mir und ich dürfte 100% alles machen, dass ich wollte. Sie hatten mich auch eingeladen, wenn sie Pläne hatten und das hat Spaß gemacht. Udo kann auch richtig gut kochen, ich würde empfehlen, für Frühstück und Abendbrot zu bezahlen. Insgesamt hatte ich eine sehr schöne Zeit und ich denke, wenn ich je in Köln bin und irgendwo übernachten muss, denn könnte ich bei ihnen bleiben =)

Sie sind wirklich nett!
Mit ihnen war ich nach Düsseldorf, Bonn, Holland, Belgien und natürlich in die Stadt Köln gefahren.
Zwei Wochen bei ihnen waren super.ウドとジルヴィアは本当に親切です。
車でデュッセルドルフ、ボン、ケルン市街、オランダ、ベルギーなどいろいろと連れて行ってくれました。
ウドは料理がうまく、とってもおいしかったです。ジルヴィアはいろんなことで助けてくれて、住民登録なども手伝ってくれました。
２週間ステイしましたが、素晴らしい経験になりました。December 2009

Mi experiencia fue muy buena, realicé actividades de salida como ir a un partido de football en el estadio de Köln, me agradó mucho. La casa es tranquila, agradable, con plantas, la mascota es muy graciosa y obediente. La habitación es cómoda.
En resumen estuve muy contenta en el alojamiento con Udo y Sylvia. :)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
