About the Area

The very beautiful location in the city forest makes Eißendorf a very popular residential area. Eißendorf is a quiet part of town with different facets.

Our house is in Hamburg-Eissendorf, south of the Elbe, in a quiet area. Eissendorf is one of the hilliest parts of Hamburg, rurally formed by the Ice Age. In addition, Eissendorf consists half of forest. One reason why many people like to live here. Eissendorf is an area that invites you to linger. The Kiekeberg Open-Air Museum and the Black Mountain Zoo are popular attractions nearby. On numerous paths it is possible to cycle, jog and hike undisturbed. In winter, the Harburg mountains invite you to go tobogganing and skiing.

Around the Eißendorfer Straße with its shops and kiosks, very beautiful houses from the Weimar period dominate. In the middle of the district is the Gölbachthal recreation area. Eissendorf has the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH), a community center, a state commercial school with a commercial high school and a speech therapy school. The sports center at Vahrenwinkelweg offers plenty of opportunities for sporting activities.

Live in the Beerental, the green lung of Hamburg-Harburg, because this is exactly where this extraordinary single-family house is located. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest HVV bus stop. The journey time to Harburg train station and Harburg city center is around 20 minutes. In the immediate vicinity you will also find schools and various shops.

So if you want to live centrally and still in the countryside, this is the right place for you. Enjoy the great, large terrace when the sun is shining.

It is approx. 8 minutes by car to the A1 and A7 motorways and approx. 8 minutes by car to the city motorway in Hamburg city centre.
