We live in Wohltorf at Hamburg's outskirts.
The Yellow House is a detached house and is just 10 minutes walk from the station, which goes directly to Hamburg Central Station in 20 minutes. It is very charming, as the house is located beside a forest. Moreover, it has a large garden, where also live 2 rabbits.

About the Area
Our house is located in the east of Hamburg in the small and secure suburb Wohltorf. Here live only about 2,500 people, and it's all very idyllic. You can look through our house right in the forest, just 50 meters from the nearest cow pasture and paddock away. Nevertheless, you have a fast connection to the city and is within 20 minutes by train to Hamburg.

I spent 3 wonderful weeks with Katrin and her family near Hamburg. I always found the family friendly, helpful and generous. I was sorry to leave. It goes without saying that I would not hesitate to recommend Katrin as a Homestay host.

katrin's family are so great.i experienced the best time in my life there.their English is very good.and everyone in their family is so funny.dont worry if you can't find the way to their home.lily will spend a lot of time guiding you.durning our stay.they brought us to the Dom,the beach,the birthday party and rode bike to the forest.it is wonderful.lily and lotta will play with us every day.i love to have fun with them playing the badminton and soccer and taking the photoes on the hill.sometimes lotta's friends will come by and play with us.they great,too.sandor is so funny.he love nature and pictures.he also like making fun of me and make me laugh all the time.katrin is a perfect mother.she is laughing all the time and make me laugh all the time.i am so happy living with them being a member of their family.i will come back as I promise you!best wishes!love you guys!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
