Maria is a lovely person to homestay with. She is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about Greek history & culture. The accommodation is super, very comfortable and spacious. Close to the main railway station of Athens and a metro stop, with many small coffee shops, a supermarket and bakeries close by. We were lucky to spend time with Maria and family. I highly recommend you to stay with her.

Fabulous stay at Maya's home in Athens. She is a very nice, cultivated person, always available and she does everything to make you feel at home and to make you feel happy. For certain we will come back.

It was my first homestay and I really loved this experience. Maya is so gentle, welcoming (she prepared maps to help us find our ways from her home to the city center, she gives good advises, her breakfast were amazing !) and we've shared nice moments watching dance videos together ! I really recommend Maya ! =)

Excellent.

Maria was the best host I've met. She was really helpfull and welcoming. She knows lots of things about history and so on and it was a pleasure talking to her! A great and kind person. If you come to Athens, it's the place to be ;)

What a wonderful, welcoming host. Maria's spacious, private apartment is full of thoughtful extras. A glass of wine and crackers, a hot shower and comfortable bed were just what we needed after a long haul flight. The desk in the room has several informative maps, useful information and clear instructions for living in her home. She provides menu options for delicious breakfasts, and shared her extensive knowledge of modern and ancient Greece. Maria has thought of everything a traveler needs: the kitchen has drying racks, there is a 'mini market' basket of essentials that may have been forgotten, a sewing kit, writing paper, and secure wifi. The location is perfect, 200 metres from bus No 12, in a quiet street, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. We would love to stay at Maria's home in the future.
