About the Area
Our place is equipped with modern conveniences at your fingertips and enveloped in simple seaside village charm, is now ready for you to experience.
Until recently, only enjoyed exlusively by our family and friends, this place is nestled between the coastal towns of Petalidi and Chrani, with the rugged mountains of Taygetus on the horizon. A hidden gem untouched by mass tourism and heavy traffic, enjoy your holiday like a local with the convenience of the bus stop right out front, or indulge in service beyond compare with our chauffeur limousine . Our newly renovated rooms are literally seconds away from the most pristine and private waters of the Mediterranean. Beach chairs and a small kiosk only a few meters to the right as you descend, or if you prefer a classic beach experience go left to find a more private stretch. Either way, you'll fall in love with calm crystal clear water and surrounding scenery.
If you're able to drag yourself away from the beach, explore Medieval Koroni, Pilo, Methoni, Finikounda as well as Mystras Mani, Monemvasia, or the Diros caves and Olympia. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, its only a 15 minute walk via road or sand! In true European beach bar style, the party kicks off before the sun sets, and goes long into the warm summer night. Whatever your holiday style is, our place will exceed your expectations.
We are located 2.5 hours from Athens and 25 minutes from Kalamata. Transfers are available by coach or private car

There is a common kitchen with a lot of facilities as long you keep it clean!
Also plenty of parking inside our property.

We had a fantastic holiday, Arthurs place was lovely and right across the Road to a beautiful peaceful beach with clear blue and calm water. Arthur was a really good host, very friendly and helpful, and lovely to be around. I was there with my children (8 and 12) and with no car which was no problem, supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance, and all very childfriendly. We stayed for 2 weeks and could easily have stayed for longer.
We can highly recommend Chelonaria Homestay, and are looking forward to coming back againHost reply

Arthur and his family are very nice and friendly people. The accommodation was also very good. In addition nice weather, warm sea with clear water and the possibility Peloponnese with its antique remains and beautiful nature to explore was great. We will gladly return.

Pleasant, quite place. Idyllic to enjoy the sun and the sea. Friendly, helpful landlords. 5 minutes
( really ! ) walk to the sea. No dolphins or sea shells, but sea turtles ( in season ) clean water, pretty colorful pebble stones and plenty space on the send for your towel. No sharks in the water and no stealing on the beach. Water is hard to get in because of the pebbles, but think of it as a complimentary reflexology service. Large and clean rooms with bathroom. Communal fridge on the porch. 5 mins walk to beach canteen with sunbeds, 10 mins walk to beachfront restaurant with music, 20 mins walk to supermarket, and more restaurant. Turtle Cove is amazing, quiet, relaxed and Arthur is very friendly. Unfortunately we only got to stay for 2 days but of you are looking for a few days of relaxation at the beach and beautiful scenery this is a big recommend!

Calling all post-graduate students... are you writing up a thesis? if so this is the place for you to do it. I didnt want to come back and the five weeks I was there passed so quickly. This is a truly great place to stay and feels like home. Creative writing is my thing and this place inspried and evoked so many new ideas. Its a chilled out, no hassle experience....Arthur, Tia and Bobby (the not so stray dog), sit among my top ten of seriously interesting, fab folk to be around.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
