About the Homestay
Hello I'm Amalia, I am a Spanish teacher, I work from my home teaching Spanish online with a house just six blocks from the central park of Antigua. Our house is clean, safe, comfortable and private, but still a family home. At the second level, the house has a small communal terrace, we enjoyed a nice view of the volcano Agua. The four bedrooms for guests are on the second level of the house. I work on the first level, at the entrance of the house. Services available for guests You will be provided with: * Hot shower * WiFi Internet * Shared kitchen and clean linen * Towels With Every new guest * Cleaning service eleven week are included. (Longer stays) * Water (Ecofiltro), coffee and tea. It's free (self-service) * Cable TV * Nightstand, lamp and chair * Table * Double bed (with 1.40 meters x 2.00 meters) * Shared bathroom (only for two rooms) * If needed, you can get some space in the fridge as well as a space to put your own ingredients.
There is no better way to learn a foreign language practice in everyday situations. Your host family offers classes in their native language Spanish. One hour of class costs 13.50,00 USD. The class will be given by the family member in the housing. The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning and internet services at additional cost (paid directly to the host upon arrival): Pick up service: $ 35.00 round

We would be very grateful if you look at our house rules Could Smoking in the rooms is strictly forbidden. Please turn of the light When it is not required. Please use water moderately. After 10pm, please try to not make a lot of noise as it will disturb other guests who Might be sleeping. No people allowed in the room who are not paying guests. If you break or damage something you are responsible for Replacing it. Do not use the kitchen after 10:00 pm. When using the kitchen, Please wash and dry dishes and kindly return them to the cabinet Where They Belong. Try to keep all areas as clean as you would like to find them. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
