Why is my homestay.com profile visible on other sites?

Homestay.com enters into legally binding agreements with other websites and business to display Homestay.com inventory on their websites, for their customers to book.  These business relationships are called affiliate partners.

What is an affiliate partner?

An affiliate partner is a third party that promotes another companies inventory and/or services on their site. As consumers we are confronted daily by affiliate partnerships but ‘affiliate partnerships’ are not part of our daily language.

As consumers when we book a flight on an airlines website, we are presented with other companies services such as accommodation, car hire and travel insurance. This is an affiliate partnership.  In this scenario the flight company has entered into an ‘affiliate’ agreement/contract to present complimentary services that might be of interest to their customers such as accommodation, car hire and travel insurance.

Homestay.com's affiliate partners present Homestay.com inventory and/or Homestay, com links on their site for their customers to browse and book.  When the customer clicks to send a request/book, the customer is transferred to the Homestay.com website site to complete the booking.
