Bhubaneswar
A busy city popularly known as temple city of India, well connected with all metro and major cities of India through air and rail transport. A city of culture and rich heritage having heritage temples in and around the city. The city has museum and drama centers, music and craft centers. During winter months the city becomes lively with music and dance festival. The city has many authentic Oriya cuisine restaurants to suit taste buds of travelers. The Home
Amidst the temple city, is our homestay. Located in the capital city of Orissa, Bhubaneswar, its only 15 min drive from airport and railway station. The famous Jagannath Puri temple, the Puri sea beach and the famous Konark Temple are just 60 minutes drive from our homestay. It has two heritage temples nearby - Megheswar and Brahmeswar. The homestay has many shopping places nearby. The house has a small beautiful garden in front to please green lovers. We have a set of 2 guest room in the ground floor, with one common to be shared only with our family members and one attached bathroom. Apart from this, there is a huge hall space for spending some common time along with others. The house has a portico where only one car can be parked and extra vehicles can be parked outside the main gate if required. On request service of maid, cook and driver can be made available at an extra cost.
Know your Host
Shobha and her family are resident of Bhubaneswar for many years. Every nook and corner of Bhubaneswar is so well known to them. The couple loves to talk about nature, health subjects and social issues. Both husband and wife are friendly and good cook who together take care of the home and the guests.
Food
We serve freshly cooked local cuisine and Indian vegetarian / non vegetarian food however only on request. Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha with curd or tea, Sandwich, Butter Toast, Bread Omelette or Puri Bhaji. Whenever guests request, they can be provided hot meals fresh from kitchen.

About the Area
Our house is 15 minutes drive from airport and railway station and 60 minutes drive to Puri. Local buses every five minutes are available at 2 min distance. Many eating joints and departmental stores are located near the house. A dispensary and medical store is at 5 min walking distance. Quite a few heritage temples are close by.

House Rules
We request our guests to maintain cleanliness all time. There should not be shouting or fighting. Guests cannot invite their guests without our prior permission. If more than specified guests stay, it will call for additional charges. Drinking and smoking at our premises is prohibited.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
