About the Homestay
Traditional Portuguese house built in 1931 with a new modern wing added recently.
Basic clean and neat rooms with attached toilet and bath. The room has amenities like AC, mini refrigerator, wardrobe and hot water through solar geyser. The room is ideal for a single person or a couple.
Good and decent neighbourhood with residences owned by foreign nationals too. Bang on the main road, with a restaurant on the premises and plenty of outdoor street parking available. Essentials available within walking distance - fresh fish, meat and vegetables and a supermarket. Local and international cusine restaurants within walking distance.
Local bus stop outside the premises with buses that ply every 15-20 minutes to the main city of Panjim (8 kms) and the beaches of Candolim and Calangute (6 kms). Rent-a-car or bike can be arranged. Car and driver can also arranged for airport transfers and sightseeing trips on separate payment.

Full payment for stay must be transferred to my account at the time of booking for a confirmed reservation.
Government issued ID required for every staying guest of Indian nationality.
Foreign nationals need to show valid passport and visa. Guests may be required to sign a visitor register.
Water supply is from the house well and this is used by us for drinking purpose too. Guests may bring their own bottled water if they wish.
Hot water is from solar geyser with limited capacity and should not be wasted.
Wifi internet is available free of cost, but is not very strong in all areas.
Smoking is prohibited within the rooms, but allowed outdoors in open garden area, as long as cleanliness is maintained.
Room cleaning is provided on a daily basis, if requested only. Generally your room is not opened by owner unless requested to do so for cleaning purpose.

Thanks to the Landlady. She made my stay there for almost a week very comfortable. The room was fit clean and tidy and well equipped with all gadgets working nicely. she made sure my stay in Goa is very interesting and refreshing. She planned my 5 days in a way that I get to see most spots in Goa and have many good experiences like boat ride, conducted tour , private taxi etc.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
