About the Area
Kalpa is a small town in the Sutlej river valley, above Reckong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya. Kalpa is a town with a history of ancient temples. The serenity of this sleepy hamlet was not often visited by foreigners until recently, but there are still relatively few visitors. It is very famous for production of high quality of apples, and pinus gerardiana also known as chilghoza. All the area in tehsil Kalpa is apple growing area, which is the main cash crops of those people who live here. Kalpa is surrounded by Deodar, apple, and pinus gerardiana chilghoza trees. The staple food is wheat, ogla, phafra and barley which are local produce.

2. Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
3. Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
4. Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
5. No pets allowed inside.
6. Alcohol free homestay.
7. Room service is not available.
8. Loud music or noise in the guest rooms is prohibited as a mark of comfort of other guests.
9. Only 1 extra bed is allowed per room on additional payment of INR 700/-
10. Please keep quiet after 10pm.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
