Hello Friends !!
I am Swagata. I live in east Kolkata very near to airport with my parents in our own three storied house. I am a tourism professional and attached with a private college as Part time Professor. I am also a professional english speaking tour guide. I arrange city tours plus excursion tours to neighbourhoods of Kolkata.
We love to meet decent people from all cross sections of the society. Our relatives are also spread across the globe and hence we are aware about the different cultures.Currently we look forward to take the opportunity to welcome foreigner from any country to come and live with us. Our home is a compact apartment full of coziness, art works, laughter and sunshine. Its a walk-up to the 2nd floor. Home stay facility is in 2 nd floor, attached with an open terrace.
You can see the sunrise and the sunset from our windows and quite a bit of the sky. The terrace is dotted with greenery and you can opt to sit out at night and count the stars. Pets are not allowed.
Pickup facility can be arranged from airport if needed. Tour around the city can also be arranged in a luxury car along with a professional guide according to need. We also arrange cooking classes and pottery classes on demand by expert trainer.You can also experience the flavour of bengali lunch and dinner at an additional cost.

About the Area
Our house is located at Eastern part of the city just 15 minutes drive from the airport and half an hour drive to the down town by taxi. Its in a calm and quite locality with lots of eateries around. Hospitals, metro station is also not too far. Auto service is very frequent and private taxis like OLA, UBER along with normal yellow cabs are also available. Private bus there in the vicinity of our house.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
