We live in a calm location with leafy surrounds in Mangalore City.
We have a guest room with Air conditioner and attached Bathroom in the first floor and we stay in the ground floor in the same villa. The guest room is private, clean and comfortable. There is Wireless internet in the ground floor
We enjoy meeting and helping people. We could easily welcome guests as friends into our home and life. We welcome you to share your culture as we will share ours. You will have full use of our home. We think this is a good idea to have a Guest from a different country.
The advantages in living with a host family you will learn everyday conversation words and terminology of the local language. You will learn Indian, preferably South Indian lifestyle and the everyday struggles and rewards of the honest hardworking and responsible Indian families. I pick up our Guest at Mangalore airport in Bajpe which is about 15 Kms from our home. Send us a message we will be glad to answer any questions you have.

Our house is located near the South of Mangalore City in a Calm and Quiet place near A.J.Medical College. City Bus stand is just in 5 Minuts walk. And it takes jus about 10 Minutes to reach City Centre.

I stay with Mohan and his family for a week. He was really nice during all my staying there. I felt part of the family. They helped much understanding how things works here in India and in particular in Mangalore. From buses and taxis to restaurant, malls and shopping in general. He was also very keen to introduce me to many aspect of is his culture, particular the cousine. I eated a lot of wonderful meals there, prepared by his wonderful wife.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
