I stay in The Calm Cottages which are tucked away in a beautiful little village “ Nathuakhan”. Nathuakhan is a small village in the Ramgarh block of the Nainital District in the state of Uttarakhand. This place is rich in Orchards and also falls in the Fruit Bowl of Kumaon. . The Cottages are surrounded by lush green fields, plum and peach trees and a panoramic view of mountains. One can go in for numerous adventure treks or just” do nothing”, relax and spend time with family and friends. Enjoy reading from a variety of available books, play board games or spend fun time together.
On offer are four inviting and tastefully decorated spacious rooms with attached bathrooms. Two of these have an attic, which is an added attraction for both kids and adults. We are also pet friendly and allow our guests to bring their pests.

How to Reach: A 7-hour non-stop drive from New Delhi by road.
By Road :
Route I - Delhi - Hapur bypass, Moradabad, Rampur, Rudrapur, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Bhim Tal, Bhowali, Malla Ramgarh, Talla Ramgarh, Nathuakhan.
Route II- - Delhi - Hapur bypass, Moradabad, Take a left before Rampur towards Swar, Bajpur, Kaladhungi, Nainital , Bhowali, Malla Ramgarh, Talla Ramgarh, Nathuakhan.
By bus: Many buses ply from Anand Vihar bus station to Haldwani . From Haldwani it takes about two and a half hour by taxi to Nathuakhan.
By train: The nearest railway station is at Kathgodam, which is connected to Delhi by the direct overnight train, Ranikhet Express or morning train Shatabdi Express. From Kathgodam it takes about two and a half hour by taxi to Nathuakhan.

House Rules
Since we are in the mid of village advisable to keep noise to the minimum. Since our help have a long walk back home, so that they are back refreshed and with welcoming smile, the next day the meals are served till 9 PM only. They are more than welcoming to accommodate exceptions sometimes.
There is no a- la- carte menu and the meals are served as per fixed menu in our dining area. All care is taken to ensure local sourced vegetables/ vegetables from own kitchen garden. Local delicacies are also included in our menu. Tea/Coffee makers are provided in all the rooms.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
