Located in the heart of South Delhi, in the safe, gated colony of Hauz Khas, this B&B is duly registered with the ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Delhi.
It has tastefully furnished air conditioned seven rooms, with attached baths, balconies, sitting lobby, fully equipped common modular kitchen and terrace.
Very well connected with the city center being just 5Kms and the International Airport 11Kms (25-30 Minutes drive).
Ethnic Indian handicrafts and designer markets Hauz Khas Village, Shahpur Jat and Delhi Haat are within walking distance.
Major Hospitals (AIIMS, Fortis, Max etc.), Shopping Malls, places of tourist interest (Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Safdarjung tomb etc.) all within 10-15 minutes of drive.
Room facilities include LCD TVs with cable connection, Air conditioning, Hair dryer, Iron etc. Free high speed wi-fi.
We provide Laundry services, Taxi hires on request.
Our hearty breakfast and sumptuous meals have won us many a repeat guests from around the world - fresh home cooked Indian delicacies lovingly prepared by the hostess. Our signature dish being Aloo Paratha - the Indian version of pancake made of wheat stuffed with potatoes and a perfect blend of choicest spices cooked to a beautiful golden crisp served hot with home made pickle and fresh home made curd (yoghurt). Other dishes include fried bread rolls, roasted puffed rice, the tri color gram flour sandwich and many more. We'd like to keep some mystery for you to unravel when you join us!
Having roots in Delhi for the past more than 120 years, we have loads of stories about the city, its past and present which we love sharing along with our culture and traditions with the guests. Our family stays on the ground floor of the same property and are always available for any queries. We offer a personalized experience and are open to interaction with guests from all over the world - we in fact invite them to share their views with us over a freshly brewed cup of cappuccino or a home cooked Indian meal which we are happy to serve them (payable extra) if they so wish.

House Rules
For a speedy check in, guests are requested to carry photocopies of their travel documents i.e. Passport and Visa (in case of international traveler) and valid government issued photo IDs except PAN card (for domestic travelers) for ALL GUESTS staying.
If you wish to smoke please do so on the terrace or in the driveway/garden.
Clean water and electricity are a privilege that still many homes in India can't afford. We request you to use both judiciously and make sure there is no wastage. We appreciate your understanding and consideration.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance

The position is perfect, just beside the subway. The rooms are correct and cheap, well maintained. I had no particular problem with security during my stay.
The family was nice but maybe a bit too much business-oriented. Even knowing the language, the contact was difficult and it was hard to have something else than a customer-provider relationship.
Too bad but not completely terrible.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
