It is custom built to delight the senses, to pamper, to relax, to revive. This place is ideal for travelers who wants to experience nature in its purest form in a very comfortable way.

Our 4-day stay with Fazal in Kumily was easily the highlight of our 3-week trip in India. It would be impossible to over-emphasize how wonderful this homestay was for me, my wife, and 4-yo son.
First, Homestay Melody is very comfortable and well located. It’s a very short walk to the heart of Kumily with the restaurants, shopping, and activity hub the town offers. However, the homestay is just far enough off the beaten path to provide a quiet place to relax. The rooms are clean, comfy, and have a nice porch facing a lovely garden/courtyard. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, Fazal’s mom prepared the best home-cooked meals we enjoyed during our entire trip in India.
If Fazal provided just the above, we would have been very happy. But what really made our trip special was Fazal himself. We met a lot of wonderful people in India; he is among the best. He has a big heart and showed genuine interest in our experiences and wellbeing. My 4-yo arrived feeling carsick and vomiting. Fazal immediately prepared food that would settle his stomach. He set us up with local experiences and spent quality time with us.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
