Samblung Mas House is our home sweet home, where we live with our little family, we love it so much and we would be happy to share it with our guest. It is located in a non touristic area, it is an area where the local living, not in the city center, but it is quite central and has an easy access to airport, Denpasar city, tourist area such as Kuta beach, Legian Beach, Seminyak,Canggu, Sanur and Nusa Dua. Some malls and hospitals are within 5 minutes drive from our home. Though there is no big restaurant nearby, but it is easy to find local food stalls that sells tasty food with a very cheap price. We currently have 4 private rooms that we rent for the guest who would like to have the experience staying in a local house. Each room has a queen sized bed comfortably for two, Air Conditioner, flat screen TV, a wardrobe, a private bathroom with cool and hot shower, a cozy private terrace with chairs and table. There is a shared kitchen where the guest can cook a simple dish. A swimming pool also available just next to the shared kitchen, in addition there is a small convenience store in the property where we sell bottled water, snacks, soft drink and local beer. We love art and enjoying gardening, that is why we put lots of art works such as local paintings, wood works, statues, unique furniture to decorate our rooms and house, we have lots of plantation in the garden and beautiful water fountain in the courtyard. We just have a new swimming pool and a renovated kitchen added as our facilities to make the guest stay more comfortable. We speak Balinese, Indonesian and English, and most of the the time will be around to assist our guest. We are so excited and can not wait to have you staying with us at Samblung Mas House.

About the Area
Our home is located in a safe rural area, only 15 to 20 minutes drive from the airport, some malls, spas and hospitals are within 5 minutes drive, the nearest beach is Kuta beach around 15 minutes drive. There are local food stalls around our house that sells tasty food with cheap price, there is a theater for Balinese dance show only 2 minutes walking, a mangrove conservation center is within10 minutes drive.

I spent an amazing time here. Rooms are surrounded by traditional Balinese atomosphere and each family members are so kind and has a big gentle smile:) They also gave me a knowledge about local place and food. There are also two adorable cats. Room with a terrace was clean and ordered. There is a shared kitchen and pool. The house is located at local place but not so far from the center.

I Ketut was so kind and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He picked me up from the airport (waited as my flight was delayed). Such a beautiful, serene place to stay. I'd only organised 1 night, next time I'll stay longer! Couldn't recommend this homestay highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay in Samblung Mas. It lived up to and beyond all our expectations and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
We were only staying one night as we were home next day but when we return to Bali we will definitely stay here for a longer period.
It was our first experience of Homestay so were apprehensive about it but we need not have worried. All our communications were excellent.
Anik and Ketuk are wonderful hosts and even though it is their family home we felt as though we had our own little villa. Our accommodation was amazing. A wonderful en suite bedroom with our own private terrace to sit in. Our breakfast was delightful and delicious and beautifully presented and a lovely surprise as it was totally unexpected. There is a shared kitchen which was fantastic as we could make snacks and have our ice cold drinks all day. There were other guests staying as well so it made for interesting conversations round the pool, however as we all had our own little terrace there was no need for engaging with others if we didn’t want to. We were not due to fly out until midnight and Ketuk kindly stored all our luggage and arranged a taxi to bring us to Kuta which is only a 20 minute walk but traffic is so chaotic in Bali it is an hour drive! We were delighted to see it but so happy to return to the serenity of Samblung Mas house. Ketuk allowed us to spend the afternoon lying by the wonderful pool before driving us to the airport that evening. I would highly recommend Ketut as a driver and he is very reasonably priced.
The house is in a very convenient location, surrounded by shops a few supermarkets, loads of local Warungs and a little street market. Yet in Samblung Mas house all you hear is birdsong. This is an ideal spot for people arriving and departing on very early or late flights as it is so close to the airport but would also be a great base to explore this part of the Island, Not too many Museums to overwhelm and yet loads of sights and activities to sustain us and it can all be managed quite comfortably but allow lots of extra time as the traffic everywhere is horrendous.
Samblung Mas House is a very special place indeed. Ten star quality at 5 star prices. Well done everyone.Host reply

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
