Canang Sari Homestay is part of a Balinese family house right in the middle of Denpasar City. Within Balinese area, spacious and secluded family home set in a tropical gardens with peaceful home shrines. Nearby the house you will find many small local restaurants, traditional market and art market. We welcome visitors or travelers who are looking for an alternative to the usual tourist experience.
Our location is at Jalan Nangka Denpasar an ideal place to stay as the house is surrounded by Balinese house compound and ambience yet remain keeping your privacy, while your host is on separate building. Local public transport is non exist so we can help you organize taxi's , motorbikes and car hire with driver for all your transport needs.
We have 2 en-suite guest bedrooms all with king size beds ideally accommodate 4 persons, family of 6 are welcome, the 2 extra persons sleeping on sofa beds. We also have a Family Bungalow perfect for family of 4. Each room equipped with own balcony or terrace and bath room, air-conditioned and hot water. The living room and kitchen will give you more spacious to conveniently explore and relax.
Suitable for out of town guest back packers, studying, business trip on vacation with economical price and good environment, amazing service, clean and new building.

About Denpasar:
Denpasar is a bustling, multi-cultural city and although it can seem a little intimidating the first time you visit, just do not believe those travel guides which say it has nothing to offer.
Denpasar is bristling with temples, palaces and museums and its occupants are outstandingly friendly. You will be off the beaten tourist track here, so bring lots of time for a chat with the locals and a decent map of town. You can see many of the main sights comfortably on foot.
This is also a notable shopping city with options to please even the most jaded of world shoppers.

From the moment of booking, I had a feeling that I was going to have a wonderful time staying with Ngurah and Ayu. I stayed for 3 nights to look around Denpasar. As soon as I arrived, I felt like coming home. Nyurah and Ayu were so warm , welcoming, very helpful and easy to talk to about anything.
I was very surprised to be upgraded to stay in a lovely Balinese style detached bungalow surrounded by a lovely tropical garden. I could have lived there forever. A welcome fresh fruit platter and a small box of banana crisps on the table almost made me cry. Ayu was a host with many talents. A good cook and a good scooter driver too. I wish I could have stayed longer to learn the Balinese cooking from her. I was looking forward to have my breakfast every morning, which was my highlight of the day. Ayu was so caring by asking me what I can or can't eat as I am on a strict diet.She also made the time to take me on a scooter trip to go to the market and showed me around. It was fun as I had not been on a scooter since I was a teenager. I enjoyed our coffee together .
Ngurah was a good host too and a good gardener. I could have asked him many questions about plants as I love gardening but they won't grow in UK where I live. I enjoyed having chats with him and Ayu in the morning while having breakfast and coffee.
Feeling sad when I had to leave. I know now where to stay when I am in Denpasar. Thank you so much for everything. Ngurah and Ayu, you are really the best hosts I have ever had and thank you so much for caring for me during my stay with you.December 2018

Als je het leuk vind om bij locals te logeren is een uitstekende keuze. Ngurah en zijn vrouw zijn zeer gastvrij en overal bereid om bij te helpen. Goede kamer en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Hij heeft ervoor gezorgd dat er een chauffeur op het vliegveld klaarstond en heeft mij op weg geholpen voor mijn verdere reis. Ontbijt is prima verzorgd.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
