We live on the north coast of Bali in the fishing village of Anturan. We have a small house, but we also have some bungalow rooms for guests and our family when they come to visit.
We have a pool and have free wifi internet available. We have two mountain bikes available for guests to use during their stay. We love movies and guests are welcome to borrow movies to watch in their rooms.
There are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance to our place. We have written a fairly comprehensive guide to the area for guests, including local attractions and places to eat at.

About the Area
We are located in the fishing village of Anturan. It is 2km from central Lovina (Kalibukbuk) and 6km from Singaraja, Bali's second largest city.
Anturan has a few nice restaurants and warungs right on the beach. It is great to sit back and watch the traditional fishing boats while the sun goes down.
We are easy walking distance to the Perama shuttle bus stop.

The accommodation was comfortable, but we went expecting a Homestay experience, which I don’t think this is. It’s a guesthouse rather.
The Lady owner was lovely, and chatted to us on arrival, but other than that there was very little interaction with the family. We chatted to the Nanny and the gentleman in the restaurant.
I feel like the food in the restaurant was very over priced, and so we chose to eat elsewhere, which I suppose is a good thing, so we experience the outside world. And the light breakfast options were not that great.
Notes on the room: the rooms are large, larger than on the pictures, the shower is tiled, which made for a slippery experience.
It’s quite a distance from the centre of Lovina, and so you spend about 50 000 to get to the tourist activities.
The staff were lovely, and they have a great kids pool, they also arranged taxis for us and very accommodating when we asked if we could stay for a shorter time than originally booked.
We left slightly earlier to be closer to the town side.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
