You are very welcome to come and live with me and my family in our traditional Balinese compound/home in Tampaksiring.
I live here with my French wife and 2 young daughters, along with my mother and my brother's family.
At the front of our house we have a French-Balinese Bistro, where we prepare a fusion of authentic French and Balinese cuisine.
I am a French and English-speaking trekking guide, and I can reccommend many hidden local places to visit during your stay in Bali. I also offer guided tours around Indonesia.
We have created an organic garden with our plot of land at the UNESCO rice fields, with a variety of fruit trees, vegetables, and herbs. It is a perfect place to enjoy sunsets, have barbeques, and watch fireflies at night.
We invite all families to come and feel safe with your children who can play with our children here, and take part in authentic Balinese crafts, such as traditional dance, music, and temple offerings.
If you decide to stay with us for 1 week or more you are welcome to cook meals in our kitchen.
We have two bed rooms:
One cosy room with king size bed rez de chaussée with terrasse for 2 people.
One balcony view with one king size bed possible add two bed size 90x200 possible for 4 peoples.

About the Area
Our house is near the local market and famous temples : GUNUNG KAWI. TIRTA UMPUL
We propose enjoying tranquil village life, trekking around the local protected UNESCO Ricefield, bathing with locals at the river, and exploring the cultural richness of traditional Balinese life.
Ubud is only 20mn drive, same with Kintamani montains, and 10mn to Tegalalang rice terrace.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
