A sub standard, damp and slightly unhygienic room in Tehran. I strongly feel that it is necessary to allow future travellers visiting Iran to know that this place is overpriced for what it’s worth. The room is a basement conversion that looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 70s, hence why I felt like the air was so damp every time I walked in. The air conditioner is broken, as it smelled of toxic fumes every time I turned it on. Also, the sheets and the beds smelled like they haven’t been washed in weeks. The facility is definitely poorly managed and I’m not sure why other travellers have rated this place so highly.

Pooria was a very helpful, polite and friendly host.
I had a private basement flat, with a very good budget price and safe. I had all I needed for my stay in Tehran. He helped me with local information and the transport from and to the airport and Laundrette and internet was available. The location is very ideal and near a main metro and BRT and local eating places. I would consider staying there again. Thank you.April 2019

We have had a great stay at Pooria’s. Pooria has been most helpful and responsible, providing all the important information and useful suggestions during our stay, from purchasing bus tickets, recharging value for our local SIM cards to booking a taxi to the bus station for us. He also prepared breakfast for us (nice wholesome local breakfast!).
His house is conveniently located and near the subway station (options of three lines on the subway) so it is easy to get around the city.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a good value for money accommodation in Tehran.Host reply

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
