Here in an old city made by mud you can see more than thousand years of history. Our Badgir Hostel is located in the center of this history so you can expect traditional and historic stay from us. Friendly staff, helping manner, traditional atmosphere, local breakfast and guest pick-up are some the the features we give you.
You can feel just like in your home as the only ones who allowed to enter the hostel are the guests and staff, so the inside part is secure for you and your properties. We guarantee your stay in our hostel would be the best part of your travel to Iran.
As the hostel is located in old part of city so everything that you want to visit in old part are near. Here are the most famous ones: Great Jame mosque, Amir Chakhmaq complex, Dowlat Abad garden, the old Town. The Silent Tower and Fire Temple are a little far, so taking a taxi would be a good choice.
Dorms: In our dorms you can have a bed with soft blanket and linen, a plug and also reading light for yourself. The bathrooms and toilets are shared. Air conditioner and heater are provided. Housekeeping will be done every day.
Private rooms: a traditional room with some antique pieces as décor. The beds are on the floor. The bathrooms and toilets are shared. Air conditioner and heater are provided. Housekeeping will be done every day.
Double rooms: a normal double bed with air-conditioner and heater with curtains and towels.

Hadi is the real insider. He knows the historic area of Yazd inside out. He takes you for breakfast at his brother's restaurant across the old quarters. He is very friendly and speaks very good (self-taught!) English. His house, classified as World heritage as the whole area is, is a sight by itself: the rooms are around a patio that includes a palm tree, green plants, and flowers. The location is excellent. He is just starting Homestay and is hoping to be able to fund the renovation of the house soon, following the Unesco obligations. So the (outside) bathroom and kitchen need work but otherwise the rooms are furnished with Persian carpets and are quiet.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
