Our family home was renovated and modernized in 2017.
The house is usually quiet. Occasionally, we have relatives coming over and it can get busier. Watch real Persian family gatherings and join them!
We respect your privacy and your room is always yours to retreat and relax from a busy day of excursions.
The rest of the amenities such as bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared with me and my parents.
I am happy to help organize tours of the center or the surroundings of Yazd if you wish.
Feel free to contact me anytime :-).
Greetings
Matt

I hope you can forgive me for this late comments about my stay in your house, Matt!
In a nutshell, my stay with Matt was just amazing. I was lucky to find a free room in his house and have the chance to meet him!
If I talk about him, I can say he is a really kind man that even if he was busy when I was there, he always tried to make me confortable. He was always willing to share stories and have nice conversations (together with tea, for sure!) that could extend till it was really late! At the same time, he gave me all the information I needed for having the best experience in Yazd. I hope to see him again and spend more time with him, even going to the city together! As well, I met his mom, and even if we didn’t see each other a lot, I can say she looked really kind and happy with my presence there.
On the other hand, if I talk about his house, it was great. I had a room for myself with air conditioning and washing machine, and I could use the shower whenever I wanted to free myself from the horrible heat of the city! Thanks to that, even if I spent most of my day exploring the city, I could have a necessary amazing sleep that helped me rest. And it wasn’t so far from the center!
I would strongly recommend coming here in case you visit Yazd, you will find an amazing person and an amazing place to stay! You won’t regret!
Thank you for everything Matt, and I hope to see you soon!!!August 2019
I am a female solo traveler and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! I felt very safe and at home with Matt and his family. The house is new and well equipped (including western toilet :D). I had my own separate bedroom, all neat and clean. Matt's family is lovely and especially his mum. The location of the place is also decent: safe neighbourhood and easy access to the center by snapp. Matt speaks excellent English and gave me great advice - even for exploring by yourself. He is also a tour guide (but never pushy like others I've met). I decided to go on a desert sunset tour with him which I totally recommend - absolute highlight in Yazd! All in all, an amazing experience! Wish I could have stayed longer :-).

I really enjoyed my stay with Mohammed he told me many inside tips about Yazd and also Iran, on top of the fact that's he's such a pleasant individual to hang around with and he'll be sure to make sure that you'll have a great time in Yazd.

We loved stayinf at Matt's place. It is very easy to find (it's on Google). We slept in a nice clean twin bedroom with comfortable beds. The bathroom is also clean and has a western toilet. Matt and his family are lovely and very hospitable people.

Mohammad (Matt) is a great guy and his home is an awesome place to stay at. The place is clean, beautifully decorated and he makes sure that you have a wonderful time staying there. Matt was always available for help on any given matter, his tips on local food and places to see were always spot on. He also organizes a mean trip to the nearby desert, which I would surely recommend to anyone. So if you are looking for a home away from home in Yazd, look no further. Matt, merci!
