Our home is warm and welcoming in every way. We are a family of five, with the three grown up kids currently away studying at University. Our youngest is home at weekends, with John and myself. We're a busy family, always on the go. We love spending our free time out and about enjoying our coastal and hilly walks. We also enjoy company and meeting new people, and would love to share our comfy and spacious home with you. Meals/packed lunch can be arranged in advance with us for an additional fee. Laundry also incurs an additional fee. For the peace of mind of both host and guests, our policy is payment in full for your stay in advance. We acquired a little dog during lockdown and he is a lively little rascal, so if you're not comfortable around dogs, this may not be the stay for you.

About the Area
Our friendly family home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac just outside Buncrana Town Centre. Buncrana is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way - beaches and coastal walks are within strolling distance. The town centre is a ten minute walk, where there are good public bus links to Dublin, Derry, Clonmany, Carndonagh and the rest of Inishowen. There is an excellent twice-daily direct bus service to and from Dublin airport and city centre.

House Rules
Ours is a family home and we hope that when we welcome guests to share it with us they will find a "home away from home". With that in mind, we expect guests to treat our home as they would their own. No smoking (outdoors on the patio is fine). No pets, sorry. And while we enjoy interaction/conversation with guests, we will normally be winding down at around 12 midnight.
Check-in time is 3pm or later
Check-out time is 10am or earlier (late check-out can be facilitated but will incur a fee)
Laundry facilities are available but will incur a fee
Please also note bedroom and bathroom are upstairs.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
