Family home close to Phoenix Park and zoo and walking distance to city centre and Luas light rail station in Cabra. Single, twin and double rooms available in summer time. Ideal for English language students or short to medium term independently minded visitors wanting to stay close to the city centre. We are a well travelled family, and are used to hosting visitors from all over the world. We speak English, Spanish, Polish and Italian. WeIcome!

About the Area
The house is in a quiet, peaceful yet central neighbourhood just 3km from the city centre and 20 minutes drive to the airport. Regular buses to the city centre leave from outside the house and with the extension of the new Luas line, Dublin's light rail system, Cabra is up and coming and only 20 minutes away from the heart of the city. it's a really great place to stay with plenty of local amenities close by.

Luke ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder!

J'ai eu un bon accueil chez Luke, et même si nous nous sommes très peu vu tout a été bien organisé pour que mon séjour se passe bien. La maison est bien située, avec un arrêt de bus dans la rue qui permet de rejoindre le centre de Dublin facilement et rapidement. Les équipements proposés sont simples mais fonctionnels. La chambre était confortable mais il y faisait un peu froid (et dans la maison aussi de manière générale).
L'accès libre à la cuisine est appréciable.October 2023

I enjoyed my stay at Luke's place. He is very friendly and the house is located in a nice area near a big park. Perfect location if you want to visit Dublin as it is well connected and just a short walk from the centre.

Luke was very kind. My daughter and I enjoyed living in his home. The location is great, close to Phoenix park, with the city center easily reachable by public transport. If you choose this accommodation you must know how to adapt... It is not a 5 star hotel!

Le logement est très bien situé : bus en sortant de la maison et commerces (supermarché, pharmacie, médecins) à proximité. Nous étions situés à 15 minutes environ en bus du centre de Dublin. Par ailleurs, notre hôte Luke a été très sympa. Nous avons reçu un super acceuil. Il nous a donné des adresses ou événements afin de profiter au mieux de la vie dublinoise.

Es war super.
Ein einfaches Zimmer aber wir waren auch einfach gestrickt. Wir waren zu zweit da und hatten ein großes Zimmer mit zwei Betten.
Bad und Küche waren auch zur vollen Nutzung da. Luke war super zuvorkommend und nett. Absolut zu empfehlen. Wir kommen Socher wiederJuly 2023

Luke is very friendly and a great host. The place is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The city center is just nearby.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
