If you like to not have your own key, If you like to have to be at home at 7pm as late for dinner or the host will text you with a emotional blackmail, If you like that the host ignores you when the host herself is angry, for sure you will have a good experience in Sandra's house.
I'm sure that If you are in the city for bussiness or somethink like that it will be a nice experience, but if you are a young person, you want to visit Cork, take a pint, meet people... you will be worried about noy having a key a key of the house, about that Sandra texting you demading your arrival schedule, and about that you can do nothing after the 7pm in Cork, even weekends, even if you're working cause you have to be at home.
I lived in this house almost two weeks with a french woman (Djamila), if you want to know her opinion look under this revue.
But in the other hand, Sandra's son (Marc), and Sandra's husband (Jack) were a very good people, always ready to give you a nice conversation and very polite people. If I have to point something good about my experience in Sandra's house, was that Sandra always gave me conversation an this helped me a lot to improve my English, and that she helped me to try to find some jobs. But in my personal opinion, it depended of the day, because some days Sandra was a good person who helped you and the next day she was telling to leave her house as soon as possible.
Be careful and enjoy Cork!
Pd: Carrigaline is a nice city, very close to the beach and with some good restaurats and stores. But the public transport is very expensive.
