The house is in a quiet cul de sac estate. Have a spare bike in the garage that you can use to travel to the coast in five minutes.

The location is very well served by public transport.

There is a bus stop right outside the house. Buses are frequent and will take you to Dublin City Centre.

There is a Dart station a 6-minute walk away.

Howth is less than 10 minutes away on the train. Howth is a beautiful fishing village on the coast. There are plenty of cosy cafés, pubs and delicious eateries in Howth. You can enjoy strolls along the piers, or take in the picturesque views from the summit of Howth Hill.

The Dart will also take you to Dublin City Centre in about 19 or 20 minutes. The Dart stops on Pearse Street, at the rear entrance of Trinity College (TCD), as well as Tara Street and Connolly Station.

DCU is about a 20-minute drive away, or more depending on traffic.

In the area there are lots of choices for shopping: Donaghmede Shopping Centre, LIDL, and Clarehall Shopping Centre are all close-by.

We are also close to a number of beautiful beaches in Portmarnock and Malahide.

For cyclists, runners, joggers, and walkers, there is a newly extended promenade along the coast that is 5 minutes away. The path goes from Sutton to Fairview, and there are cycle lanes that extend further into the city centre.

We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you into our home! Deposit of 20% paid on booking.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Juste bémol sur le bruit très tôt pour un dimanche matin

After a long travel to get here, this welcoming homestay had the warm bed and warm shower I had been longing for. The hosts were both very helpful from finding an extra pillow to giving me directions around town. If you are looking for a homestay with knowledgeable hosts that are willing to answer your questions about getting around in Dublin, this is the place :)

We had a very pleasant stay, the room we slept in is very big and comfortable, as well very clean. There was a bathroom without shower en suite. Only the shower had to be shared with the family.
The host gave us a lot of great ideas what to do in Dublin. The area of the house is pretty residential and has a bus connection 2 minutes away and a train stop 10 minutes away. There is a Dunnes grocery shop also 10 minutes away with a bus stop near by. We really liked our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Lovely people with nice modern home. Intending visitors should consider their willingness & abilities to climb and descend narrow stairs with (out) luggage as lodgings are on 3rd floor & some may find this difficult.
Joseph, Vianney and their 5 year old were thoroughly lovely and helped enormously in our first few days in Dublin.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?
