About the Homestay
We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child (age 11) that live in a modern 3 bedroom semi detached house in a lovely suburb on the north side of Dublin. We have a separate kitchen and living area with a beautiful back garden and patio area on which we have bar-b-ques regularly during the summer. As a family we are quite active and are often out and about. Over the last 16 years we have had students / vacationers of all ages to stay with us, we love to meet new people. Our home is modern, warm, welcoming and relaxed.

About the Area
Our house i located on the north side of Dublin city in a quiet and safe suburb called Clonshaugh.
We are approx 10km (30mins) by bus number 27 to the city centre which has a very regular bus service (every 10mins), from the airport we are approx 10mins.
The bus stop is only 5 mins walk and there are 2 shopping centres within walking distance, there is also a large public park with amenities close by, and a cinema within walking distance!

Keep noise to a minimum after midnight and before 6am, you are very welcome to use the kitchen however please clean up after yourself.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
I spent two nights with Barbara's family and they were so nice and they will definitely help you with all your questions. Also the house is really close to the airport and the access to Dublin center is really easy and fast. I really enjoyed my stay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
