About the Homestay
Hi my name is Joanne, but my friends & family call me JoJo for short. I am a very out going lady & love to chat to students from different countries. I have been taking students into my home from all over & I have enjoyed their company & listening to them about their lifes back in their own country. I like to invite & have the pleasure to get to know students & have them stay with me & feel relaxed & at home with me.
I have a lovely home in a quiet area of Dublin. Its clean & safe to be in. I like to have the pleasure to share my home with many students that are coming to Dublin to study, work or just holiday.
In my spare time I work in an office in the city. I like doing light excerises, pilates & swimming. I also catching up with the latest series & movies on Netflix.

It's a 5 minutes walk to the Shopping Centre, where you can get all you need from all types of food, to a phone chip or bus travel cards. There is a nice green near by & also a cinema & bowling too. The local Hospital is ten minutes walk & the motorway is 5 mins drive. It's very close to Dublin Airport only about 10 minutes drive. I am in a well situated area. Joanne was very kindly with me. She welcomed me perfectly when I arrived in Dublin for the first time.
My first experience abroad was really good and she taked care of me!
I wish you the best and I hope to see you one day.
Take care of you Joanne!
Joanne is the most welcoming and heartwarming host I could imagine. In my three months staying with her, we had the lovliest conversations and, while she gives you a lot of privacy and freedom around the house, it was always easy to talk to her when something came up I needed help or advice with. Thanks for everything!
She is such a sweet and kind person. The house is so nice and there is a big mart near. I want to go back.
I had the best experience staying with Joanne. She’s amazing, she’s very caring and my talks with her were amazing. I struggled a bit by being away from home but it was honestly really nice to go home to her and having her ask about my day and my trips. Her house is beautiful, you can have your privacy, the space for you to cook, and even supermarkets really close to the house. I asked a lot of questions, and she was willing to help me and respond every time!! She’s just really lovely and sharing her home is a great experience.
I would highly recommend Joanne’s home to stay. I had an amazing time in this house and she was really helpful and kind with me every time. I am really gonna miss her and our talking.
Thank you so much,
Wish you the best.
I stayed at Joanne's house about 2 month and had a very good experience. Joanne is very friendly, she really cared about me and was always available if I had any question. We talked a lot together and I had the chance to meet some of her friends and family who were also lovely!
The house was clean and my room spacious with a lot of place to keep my stuff. It is situated in a quiet area, near a shopping center and also not that far from the city center.
I'm very thankful and hope to see her soon! :D
My stay was really amazing. Joanne is a very kind woman, she is also talkative and friendly so I felt very confortable in her house.
The room I rent was very cute and quite big. The neighborhood was very quiet and furthermore, the house is near a shopping center and bus stop.
I don't regret spending time with Joanne and I hope to visit her soon.
