Hey we are an easygoing family. We live in a quiet neighbourhood beside Artane castle shopping center in Dublin 5. You would be staying in a single room with access to common areas of the house. We have young children so you would be expected to be respectful of that fact. Please confirm bookings within 24 hours as we have a lot of requests. Smoking only outdoors.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the city in a quiet area. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the house and the buses are very frequent to the city center. We are perfectly located for any amenities you might want.

Must be respectful of our family. No heavy drinking or drug use of any kind. Must clean up after yourself and leave the place clean and tidy. No people with a history of mental illness or a criminal record.
Checkout by 12pm. This is flexible but please arrange it with us.

Christine and Al are the kindest and most easygoing hosts I have encountered, and their kids are wonderful to be around with. I was able to cook with them and was a great time when I stayed there. I indeed recommend anyone who is looking for a blessed home with a great family host, to stay at their place.

Great stay! The house and and room are really nice, location is good, with a bus stop for city centre just outside. Christine is very kind, always available for help or a just a talk. I stayed 4 nights, didn't have any problem. Recommended!

I stayed 7 days in this very nice homestay with Christine and her family.
The house is situated in a very quiet street. Walking distance to some shops and nice coffee shop, called Ultimate Coffee.
The busstop to Dublin center is right around the corner. In the center it was very easy to take the train (DARTline) to nice places on the coast. The airport is at more or less 8 km.
Christine and Al were very kind and friendly. It felt like family. As from the first day they gave me city map, bus information and much about things to see.
The room was just perfect and clean. Sharing the bathroom was never a problem.
Ik can strongly recommend this homestay, super! Thanks a lot Christine!

The bedroom is as it is described on the site. Christine is a nice person, she helps you if you have a technical problem or if you want something. But it is to far from the centre of Dublin, I have 45 minutes to go to the school in the centre ( at 8'oclock)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
