I had a great time staying with Gary and Gunta!
The flat was cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a fully functional kitchen and a clean, modern bathroom. The WiFi is very good and because the flat is seperated from Gary and Gunta's home you have your privacy. At the same time, Gary and Gunta were incredibly accommodating and always available to assist with any questions or needs I had during my stay. The location in Raheny was perfect for me, offering easy access to public transportation (Busses and Dart) and the local amenities. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived, thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, my time in Dublin was made even more enjoyable by this really great homestay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Gary and Gunta were wonderful, attentive, and sympathetic hosts, and the accommodation was absolutely perfect for me! I felt very comfortable and secure – the neighborhood is lovely and the accommodation is well-equipped ! The nearby park is perfect for walks, and you can also get to the beach on foot if you want to. You can reach the city center in 20 minutes by bus (with several bus routes available). Thank you so much for everything, Gunta and Gary! All the best for the future and I can absolutely recommend staying with you!

My stay with Gary and Gunta was very lovely. They are both very kind and friendly. My room, the one on the top floor was very confortable and clean. Gunta was taking care of washing my closes and it was perfect for me. They also are very flexible with the time of the dinner you just have to warn them if you don't eat at home. Their home is also quit close to the city centre (20min by bus to O'Connell Street). For me, it was a really nice stay. :)

Gunta and Gary are super attentive hosts, discreet but present when necessary and leaving us a private space. If you want to be in a quiet place while being close to Dublin (only 20 min by bus) this is the ideal place. And little extra, a family park at the foot of the house and the sea (beach or Howth) a little bit further ..... breakfast and lunch comprise in the price are really good and healthy. Hope to see you in the future

Dear Gary, Gunta and kids,
Thanks for those four months in your house (january to the end of may). It was a pleasure to meet you all. Dublin is an expensive but amazing city and it was an unforgetable experience.
I tried the two rooms that it is possible to rent in your house. The firstone at the ground floor has a private bathroom and the second one is at the top of the house, under the roof (atic room). The bathroom have to be shared with the family but it is not a problem because the house and the bathroom are clean all the time.
Breakfast and diner are included in the price (€800 per month) and was good and varied.
Diner is served at 7PM most of the time and it is possible to eat it after ( put in the microwave). The family is really polite and agreeable all the time. Gunta wash the closes and clean the room once a week.
The localisation is very good because it is about 25 min in bus to Howth (bus 31), 40 min by walk of Bull Island (beach), just near the house there is the Saint Anne's Park (2nd bigest park of Dublin) and there is a small SPAR in the top oil station. Finally, it is about 20-25 min in bus ( 29a, 31, 31b, 32) and arrive in the city centre (near O'connell street). The last bus from the city centre is at 11:30PM and a taxi ( night cost) is about €12.I think that it is a good option to choose a room in this house because the family is agreeable, the house is in a safe place and little outside of the city but not far. Even if the price is higher than other place, I think that it is attractive because I just had to buy the lunch.
I was glad to meet you all and it was a pleasure to stay in your house. It helps me to discover the Irish culture and the hospitality.
