We are a busy family of 4 and we have friendly little dog and cat. We live in the lively village of Ranelagh, just 15 mins by tram to St Stephens Green. In Ranelagh, you will find an abundance of cafes, pubs and restaurants just minutes from our home. The room we offer is a large bright room with a double bed for one or two people. There is a bathroom right next door. It is situated at the top of our house so there are stairs. We are very much a family home but we enjoy meeting new people and look forward welcoming guests to our city.

We had a great stay with Joan and her family. The room is lovely and it was nice to have a private bathroom right next to it. The house was in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The area was great for us as close to LUAS and bus so easy to get around Dublin (we got a LEAP visitor pass). It was also within walking distance to the RDS and near to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again if back in Dublin.

We had a great stay, Joan is a lovely person and the house is amazing! The room is comfortable, quiet and very well furnished, the bathroom is nice as well (lots of of towels, which are always a plus :) ). The place is connected perfectly, the luas is convenient and fast.
But most importantly, Joan and her family are amazing, we really felt at home! Looking forward to come back, sooner or later :D

P.s. Sparky and Connie are the sweetest pets ever!

Joan is the perfect host in Dublin, she is talkative, gives information and is very kind. The house is in a walking distance from the highlights of Dublin, but I took the tram, which was really close to the house. The tram is convenient,as it goes in every 4-5 minutes. In 10 minutes you can reach Grafton street, the famous shopping area in the downtown,in 15,-20 minutes Trinity College, etc.
The room is on the 3rd floor, there is nothing else, just the guest room and the private bathroom,so you can feel the privacy, too. The pictures on the website are real, the bed is super comfortable, everything is clean. Joan provides towels and hair dryer,as well.
The breakfast could be chosen from a large variety of food, and the coffee was great. Greetings to your boys and pets,Joan. I was lucky to choose you, thank you for everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joan's. She is a fantastic hostess and made us feel right at home. The house is in a lovely suburb, only 2 minutes from the tram and close to a local shopping precinct. The room was brilliant...bright, clean, comfortable and with an excellent ensuite. We highly recommend it.

Joan and her family were very kind and helpful and were always open for a nice little chat. Their house and especially our room were marvellous and cosy, also it is a great neighbourhood to stay. Next time in Dublin I would surely ask to stay there again. Big recommendation!
