Majella and Martin were the perfect hosts, they provided exactly what I needed in a homestay. The room was warm with a comfortable bed. The house is located in a quiet area with good transport links. They are friendly and genuine in their interest in their guests and the breakfast was lovely. I have no hesitation recommending them.

    Amazing stay
This was my first homestay experience and it couldn’t have been any better. It is a great location in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with public transport just around the corner. Majella and Martin were so hospitable and thoughtful and made me feel at home straight away. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them and their helpfulness and attention to detail made my stay extremely enjoyable. From the moment I contacted them they helped me with advice on how to get around in the city and even offered me a ride to the airport on departure day. My room was warm and clean with a lovely comfy bed. There was always fresh coffee and tea in the mornings and I felt spoiled with homemade bread and a full Irish breakfast. Thank you, Majella and Martin; wouldn’t look for anywhere else to stay if I returned. I can only highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.

Majella is a very friendly person. She helped me a lot to improve my speaking English, because she love talking. The house is big and comfortable. I feel like at my home. The bus station is very close the house, and the journey to city center takes more or less 20 minute.
I really recommend to stay in Majella and Martin's house, they are lovely.

Majella and her husband are really great and the best host couple in the world. They're very kind, warm, and fantastic.
Even I can't speak English so well, they always tried to communicate with me and encouraged me. They invited me to their home party and also served me good red wine and delicious food which she cooked and it was totally not included my payment. They also took me and my huge luggage to the central city when I left. I could have a great time and felt so comfortable with them.
Their house is also clean and delightful. The large living room opens for the guests. Location is easy access to the any places. I didn't have a car but there is a bus stop near the house, so it is very convenient.
I really recommend to stay at Majella's home and I wish to stay here again.

Booking and staying at Majella Peelo and her family was a very good idea!
When you look for a calm place in rummbling ireland - here is the right place... Nice peole with an open house for young and older persons, clean (while each person left rooms like kitchen or bathroom while cleaning at once by himself) and comfortable.
When you need something, you ask and you get it, also tips for going arround, nice places to see.
With the bus it takes a while for comming to the city - but i liked it for have a view over the townships, lovely gardens and`take a lot of pictures, while sitting warm and dry ;) . When reaching the citty it was fine, not to sit in a car and driving by myself ;) (I come from Germany and the traffic is a horrible thing - cars "whithout drivers" going on the wrong side). While going home after an adventure i need the time sitting in the bus to relax.
In my lovely room i could use a fast internet; uploading some videos and pictures to my friends only needs a few seconds, longer ones some minutes...
Cause my flight back to Germany was early in the morning, Majella took me to another bus, because the nr. "123" didn`t go so early.
So God bless this house and this family! Thanks a lot off!

I spent two fantastic months at Majella's home. The location is really good, everything is at hand (supermarkets, library, park, restaurants, bus stops..) and the neighborhood is really safe, welcoming and quiet. In addition, the bus stop to catch the bus to the city center is only 30-40 metres away. The house is nice and especially clean. My bedroom was big and had a really comfortable bed. One of the best things was the kitchen, which was huge and modern with views to a lovely garden. It was so great to start my day having breakfast there. However, the best part were Majella and her family. They always make me feel at home thanks to their kindness, friendliness and naturalness. They had been friendly to me since the first day I was there. They always helped me when i needed something. I feel really grateful towards them. I’m sure you won’t regret it if you choose this homestay.
