About the Homestay
I live with my 2 teenagers in SANTRY, Dublin.
We love dogs and temporarily take care of a golden labrador. We go swimming occasionally and we go to the park most days depending on the weather.
Our house is a 3-bed semi detached. The kitchen comes dining room and living room and front and back gardens. We live in a quiet cul de sac with some elderly people and some young families also.
We are within a mile from Northside shopping centre and 1.5 miles from Omnipark shopping centre Santry. 10-15 minutes taxi journey from Dublin Airport. Closest bus route into the city centre is 27b which picks up at top of the street and 17a bus route from Killbarrack connects to Blanchardstown shopping centre. There are plenty of other bus routes from the main road in Santry which is about 10-15 minute walk away. The nearest dart station is in Drumcondra. Dart is the train service in Dublin which will take you from North County Dublin to Greystones in County Wicklow. This journey has beautiful scenery and sights of Dublin Bay and the surrounding areas.

For longer duration's 6 weeks payment is paid on day of arrival and then a schedule can be worked out with you

About the Area
Our house is located about 10-15 drive from Dublin airport. We are within 1-2 miles from 2 shopping centres which also incluse cinemas also close to parklands. There are gyms and swimming facilities close by also. There are bus routes 10-15 minutes walk away which will bring you into the city centre.

Superbe séjour chez Louise et sa famille ! Je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Famille très chaleuruse et très souriante.
Louise était toujours là si j’avais besoin de quelque chose ou si j’avais des questions.
Et le quartier résidentiel était très calme et proche des arrêts de bus et de magasins.
Je reviendrais chez cette famille sans hésitation :)

Louise and her family took me in as one of their own from day 1 and I loved staying with them. They made my whole relocation process so much easier and made me feel like I was very welcome. Such an easy going, friendly and funny family! Would recommend this place to anyone!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
