About the Homestay
I'm Liz, I live with my husband in our lovely home. Our daughter and sons have left home now.
We are a very friendly, welcoming and social family. We love getting to know new people. I am a teacher and I get along very well with foreign students. My husband is a bus driver.
We have one room available which boasts a kingsize bed with brand new en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet and wash-hand basin).
A table and chair are available to be brought into the bedroom also.
We have a second room which is a single room. It has a bright modern bathroom next to it.
A change of bedlinen is provided every week and I also provide laundry service once a week. We will provide you with towels during your stay also.
A breakfast of cereal,homemade brown bread, and tea/coffee are available in the mornings.
Guests can use the microwave and kitchen area to prepare sandwiches and snacks, or cook a simple meal.
We are in a quiet, residential area with easy city centre access - ideal for anyone coming to study for a few months.
We are served by 3 different bus routes all within 3 minutes walking distance of the home.
University College Dublin - UCD - There is a direct bus route(175) less than 3 minutes from the house.
We have a bus - 49 route outside the house serving IT Tallaght. Its a 15 minute journey.
We are 35-60 minutes away from the city centre by bus (depending on the time of day) - perfect for students in DIT, or Trinity College Dublin - TCD
We are very close to exit 12 off the M50
The beautiful Marley Park is about 5 km away. Perfect for runners, walkers, joggers, or the outdoorsy-types!
The area is 5 minutes away from pubs, shops, a chemist, hairdressers, and all amenities.
There is parking available for bikes and cars.
We have wifi available also.

About the Area
The house is in the leafy, quiet suburbs of south west Dublin. The 49 bus stops right outside the house. The 15 and 65b stop two minutes from the house. All three buses serve Tallaght Hosp and City Centre. The 75 and 175 are a ten minute walk from the house and go to Rathfarnham, Dundrum, UCD and Dunlaoghaire. We live 7 minutes walk from a shopping centre with Church,Pub,Cafes and supermarket.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
