Looking for full academic year student only (or majority of the year).
I live in a quiet residential area of Clondalkin with my partner and son aged 24 as well as our Golden Retriever dog in a 3-bed semi detached house. We all work full-time. There is a sitting room, large kitchen and separate dining room, a guest WC downstairs and a shared main bathroom.
My interests would be travel, cooking, reading, walking, gym, cinema and eating out.
Please note only dog lovers need apply as you would need to be very comfortable and tolerant of having a dog in the house.
Mon - Fri only stays can be accommodated if required.
Additional Info
Only a continental breakfast is included in the room rate e.g. tea/coffee, toast, cereal, fruit and orange juice.
Dinner and a packed lunch can be provided at an extra cost.

About the Area
Our house is located in the West of Dublin in a quiet residential area called Clondalkin. The bus stop to the City Centre is just outside our estate. In Clondalkin Village a number of other bus routes are also available cross city. Clondalkin Village is just 10mins walk away where you will find numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Local supermarkets are Dunnes, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl. Accessible by public transport is Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and The Square Shopping Centre.

House Rules
I'm looking for a student for the full academic year (or majority of the year).
Once booking is confirmed, proof of study and name of college attending will be required together with photographic ID e.g. passport/driving licence and a reference.
Once booking is confirmed please note that guests are required to pay a deposit of 1 month's rent in advance to me to hold the room (on top of the 15% booking fee paid to Homestay.com). On arrival 1 month's rent in advance is required and monthly in advance thereafter. All payments should be made by bank transfer to my bank (details will be given at time of booking). Mon - Fri only stays can be accommodated if required.
Cancellation Policy: Guests are required to give me at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this or decide to leave before the check out will not be refunded.
Please note we have a family pet in the house a Golden Retriever dog therefore guests will need to be dog lovers and very comfortable with this.
No access to kitchen after 10pm.
Please keep our home secure with the use of the alarm and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house. Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after use. Please note no access to kitchen after 10pm.
Please ensure that all electrical appliances are switched off particularly in the kitchen when not in use. Keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. Please keep bathroom facilities clean after use. Please do not invite friends into our home without prior permission. Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home.
No overnight visitors allowed. No drug use.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
