About the Homestay
Welcome to our home:)
I'm Seán and I live with my 15 years old daughter and not to forget the smallest member of the family, our lovely dog.
Our home is located within walking distance of Swords town center. We are in an excellent location, close to Dublin airport and on direct bus route to the city centre, as well as 10 minutes from coastal towns of Portmarnock and Malahide.
We provide a warm welcoming home and you'll never be a stranger while staying with us.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on the patio if you don't mind the Irish weather!!! before heading to town. There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets and parks if you want to explore Swords. The Pavillions Centre is ideal for a spot of shopping or cinema visit. Alternatively take a stroll through the beautiful grounds of Malahide Castle, just a short bus journey away.
We know our guests like their privacy and we will leave you to enjoy your stay.
However, I am happy to chat and I'm always on hand if need it.

Une super adresse, bien située pour visiter Dublin et sa région... à découvrir
I enjoyed my stay from the first minute till the last. The room was spotless clean and warm when I arrived and also very quiet. Sean is an amazing host, he was very kind and helpful and he answered all my questions. He couldn't do more for my comfort. The breakfast was yummie. The location of this accommodation is great and within short distance to the airport and Dublin city centre. I am looking forward to stay here again. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone..solo travellers or couples.
Perfect...the best irish man on this Island...
Fabulous homestay and great host Sean is.
Cannot do enough for you.
If your visiting Dublin or catching a flight at nearby airport then this homestay is ideal for. I’ve stayed here before and I’m sure I will again.
This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. Sean looked after me with cups of tea and got up to make me breakfast at 3:45 in the morning, he also gave me a lift into swords and to the airport. He is great at conversation and so generous and kind.
On se sent comme chez soi chez Sean. C'est quelqu'un d'accueillant. Tres bon sejour.
Fantastic stay and Sean himself, a true gent, cannot do enough for you. Great chats with this host, most comfortable bed and a lovely quiet area with parking. 7 minutes to airport and all amenities you require near by. Will stay here again in a heartbeat.
Thanks Sean for being a super host and very accommodating.
Many thanks to Sean, who offered me accommodation on very short notice.
He has a comfortable home on the bus-route from central Dublin (bus 41C and the Swords Express) and is within walking distance of Swords town centre & Swords Castle.
The room is cozy, with a double bed, TV and wi-fi.
Sean went out of his way to make me feel relaxed and offered access to his kitchen when needed. He was able to offer advice about local sights.
Thanks again for the hospitality.
Celebrated St. Patrick's day with Sean. Lovely guy and his family is nice too. He has a lot of stories and is helpful with getting around Swords and Dublin. If you want to experience Ireland go through this guy. Cheers Mate!
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
