4-bed detached bungalow in quiet private complex. On all bus routes to city centre, Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum. 5 minutes walk to Luas tram. Owner occupied; no children.
6 x 5 metre twin studio with lounge area and kitchenette with fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Separate bathroom for own use, not shared. Leather sofa, double study table, wardrobes and cupboards for food storage. Main kitchen may be used for light cooking and dishwasher. Washing machine and dryer available on request. Own exit to garden and outdoor seating.
Also available one single room with private ensuite and own kitchenette with fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Single bed, study table, plentiful wardrobe space and cupboards for food storage. Main kitchen may be used occasionally for oven cooking and dishwasher. Washing machine and dryer available on request.

About the Area
Best location. 5km south of city centre. Quiet suburban area with 2 minutes access to all bus and Luas train routes. 5 minutes walk to Stillorgan village for all supermarkets, restaurants, cinema, pubs.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Must feel comfortable with cat and dog.
Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
Kitchen can be used occasionally at times to be agreed and before 9pm. Please clean up after yourself.
Please do not bring strangers into our home.
Please ensure showers and washing machine usage is before 10.30pm.
Bedlinen will be changed every two weeks and towels every week.
Guests may use the washing machine and dryer for personal laundry at an additional charge of €4 per wash and €4 per dry.
Guests are asked to keep their own room clean and tidy.
Checkin times are from 4pm, unless host advises otherwise. Checkout by 12 noon.

We spent 8 days with Janet. She is an excellent hostess, very nice, quite attentive to make everything go well. She respect our privacy, but she is always available to help.
The house is beautiful, clean, with a small garden. The bedroom is very big and the bathroom is perfect.
It is very well located, 2 minutes from the bus, different lines, LUA and the aircoach it is around 5 minutes walking that provides easy access to the city centre.
In short I highly recommend this accommodation. I hope to see her again.Host reply

Janet is an amazing host and person.
From the very beginning she was welcoming and explained me lots of details about the city and the different sites.
Her house is beautiful and totally comfortable.

If you are planning on living in Dublin for a bit, I would definitely recommend this homestay with Janet. Janet is honestly the best host I could’ve asked for. She is so genuinely kind, thoughtful, and caring, but also respects your privacy. She also has a cat that is absolutely adorable.

I am very thankful Janet welcomed me into her lovely home. The room was great likewise was the bathroom and the kitchen. Everything was spotless clean.

Janet is an excellent hostess, lovely, kind, helpful and generous person; it's my first time in Dublin and she helped me several times, before arriving, she sent me detailed information on the different ways to get to the accommodation. The accomodation is very comfortable in a beautiful area of Dublín. I stayed in the single room that has beautiful views of the garden, Could not recommend a better stay!

Mon séjour chez Janet fut très agréable. Une hôte très sympathique, attentionnée, nous proposant son aide. Le logis est très agréable, également : indépendant avec 1 petite terrasse, 1 salle de bain privative et accès à la cuisine. L'accès par le bus est très facile, nous avons pu visiter Dublin, aller à Bray.... Je recommande vivement.

The host cancelled the booking 32 days before the arrival date.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
